To earn five stars from my reviews you have to be BETTER than outstanding. Robertos reached for perfection and was successful. My wood planked tile is stunning. The crew removed the old tile and laid each plank without a hitch. They are efficient and are approachable if you have a question. Roberto personally popped over to oversee his crew's performance. If something wasn't right, he immediately rectified the issue. My toilet had a slight leak and because Roberto deals with plumbers, wood workers etc. within an hour, someone was at my home and replaced faulty connection. At the end of the job, a cleaning service was sent over to "give me the home as clean as it was when I gave it to them." Seriously, Robertos is a hidden gem in Oxford, Florida. No pressure, just helpfulness!

SCAM ALERT*******DONT USE THEM!***They scam the old timers of the Villages buy overcharging for…read moretile purchased not the tile ACTUALLY installed. I brought this to the attention of one of the owners, Matt. He refused to change the estimate they provided. They attempted to charge for 1109 sf when the space only measures (by their measurements) 1003 sf. The explanation was that the customer is paying for the excess tile required to install the floor tile. (Waste due to cuts). I explained that he can not charge me an install price of the total amount of tile purchase, he can only charge me for the tile ACTUALLY installed. They are overcharging EVERY customer by the 10% overage that they purchase. It's a SCAM. They apparently do it with carpet as well. People only pay for what's installed not for what's purchased! This is the best store of this sort I have ever been in…read more The wife wanted to go here, it was never on my radar. The word "decor" made me think it was sort of like a HomeGoods type of place, vases, baskets, signs that say "Wine O'clock", that sort of thing. In fact they do not carry those, but they have a truly impressive selection of tile, both floor and wall, and flooring. No matter what one is looking for in tile or flooring, they will likely have it here, and will not be plunking one down at a desk to open binders. They also have a much broader selection of colored grouts and caulks than H*** D**** or L****. Well-stocked, clean, huge facility , plenty of staff willing to be helpful but not biting my ankle. Prices seemed good to me. For example, they had a nice beige ceramic tile, 12" x 12", for only .49 each, and I thought it was quite nice, a super cheap way to redo a floor. They have some hypnotic tile patterns that I have never seen before, nice eye candy ( see photos ). So I can't give them a 5 as I did not go through the process of a good size order with them, we just bought a few diddly things, but if you are doing this sort of project, you should consider coming here instead of places staffed by those with orange or blue aprons.

My wife and I first wandered into this store looking for flooring for the 2 bedrooms in our rental home. It definitely was a great stop for us. We did not buy floors really, we just had so much faith in Denise after speaking with her, we could not go anywhere else. Her knowledge of flooring, installation practices, the different homes in and around the Villages, etc., was impressive, and above all else, true and honest. Behind Denise is a fantastic company who installed those 2 bedrooms, 3 more at our home, and now 4 more at another property we own. Each time the care and quality workmanship provided surpasses expectation. In an area (The Villages) where many service providers seem to overcharge and under deliver, Denise and Great Lakes Carpet & Tile are a breath of fresh, fairly priced, fresh air. If I were you, I would not waist any time. Rely on this review of 9 rooms, 3 installations, over the last 3 years, and go see Denise. You will be very pleased you did!.
