I stocked up on some Spirulina and homeopathic allergy relief. The items found here I usually get at Whole Foods but there is not one for miles and Village Nutrition came through for the win. I was glad to support this shop as I prefer to shop local and these little shops are disappearing and need our support. So glad that this was close by! I was able to find the herbs I needed for my allergies and restock on some tinctures. They even have small a healthy food section with natural snacks, gluten free items etc. Every town should have one of these vitamin and supplement shops. P.S. Travel Tip: they also have local honey which if taken at about a spoon a day for a week will relieve you of local allergies. .

However, I LOVE their organic supplements section! They have just about everything I go in looking for; it's an expansive selection of products. I'm into homeopathic, herbal and Ayurvedic medicine and I can always find things here that I can't seem to find anywhere else besides Amazon. Checkout is always quick and I love that they don't use plastic. I sell online a lot so the boxes they give me come in handy later for shipping. Great place!

It sucks having to go to one store for produce, another for bulk beans and spices and things... Instead of having dry goods in bins, everything here is wrapped in plastic. Animal- and environment-maiming plastic. Come on!!!! There's a much more reasonably priced and better quality selection of organic produce than at WF or Kroger. A good selection of gluten-free grains and baking flours, as well as GF snacks, cereals... A crazy amount of vitamins and supplements - one whole side of the store. Lots of nice bulk items you won't find elsewhere, like jasmine tea and cinnamon sticks. Unique chocolates and teas and trail mixes - all kinda fun stuff. Plus they give you a free lady bug bag on your first visit - so nice. --- some things aren't fresh, like berries, daikon; some arent fresh and are way overpriced, like ginger; there aren't some items like red onions, cherry toor cilantro. it was freezing in the store; the classes they offer aren't of interest; the beauty section (shampoo, lotion, solid peetc.) selection isn't great. I mean there are tons of products, and it's great you can sample them, but they're not that great of quality.

When I got home, I noticed the second item wasn't present and I will admit I was distracted while I was checking out by talking to my son on the phone. I immediately contacted them when I got home and noticed the discrepancy and their response was a little less then friendly. They treated me as though I was a lying criminal that just wanted something for free. I'm retired Army and I don't even go to the restaurants that offer free meals on Veterans Day so o don't want anything forI just wanted what I paid for. While their prices are good, I'll just pay higher prices elsewhere. UPDATE: Was told by the corporate office on IG that I would be contacted in order to resolve the situation. That was over a month ago. I gave them my number and the best time to contact me. Of course, no phone calls or attempts to resolve the issue so apparently they have no desire to rectify the situation. I am downgrading my review from 2 stars to 1. He showed me two options: Egg White Protein Powder and Raw Vegan Protein Powder. I chose the Raw Vegan Protein Powder because he assured me it contained no animal by-products, unlike the Egg White Protein Powder. I paid $54.48 in cash, tax included. After consuming the product at home, I became nauseated and eventually vomited. Upon checking the ingredients, I discovered that Stevia Extract was listed under "Other Ingredients." I am allergic to Stevia. I attempted to contact the store multiple times throughout the day, but I only reached voicemail. Finally, at 5:17 PM, the same salesperson answered. I explained my situation, mentioning that I became ill because of my allergy to Stevia. He asked if I had opened the product, and I confirmed that I had. He then claimed that he informed me the product contained Stevia, which is untrue--had he told me, I would not have purchased it. He further stated that he could not accept a return due to COVID policies. When I attempted to express my concerns, he abruptly hung up on me. This experience was extremely disappointing. The salesperson showed no concern for my health or the inconvenience I experienced, nor did he offer any solutions, such as a discount on a different product. This lack of customer service is unacceptable, and I will not be returning to this store to purchase anything and I hope you will not either!!!
