Decent service in a small town Mexican restaurant. I used to go here all the time, but haven't been in a year. We decided to go here for dinner and I immediately remembered why I stopped spending money in this place.... the prices. complimentary chips we receive at every Mexicans restaurant were as stale as could be I realize running a business can be difficult, but serve fresh food or don't offer it at all. I had three skimpy street tacos with the basic beans and rice for $17. Street tacos most restaurants I frequent are $3.99 a piece, and 3 is a meal. fajitas used to cost $17. How much are they now? $27, and no not for the shareable size. I understand prices have gone up. Quality and portion size here is way down from where it was even a year ago. I'll gladly pay that price if i feel it's worth the portion size, but that is not the case. read more

The place was not busy at all. I am sure this is for the location placement. I got a burrito, enchilada and tamale combo. Tamale was incredible. I did not care for the ground beef used in the burrito or enchilada. My beautiful bride got the arros con polo. She ordered it well done. Well it was awesome. You need to get this. My husband and I ventured to Arcadia for the weekday-evening farmer's market, and on the way, I mentioned I was feeling Mexican food for dinner. Unexpectedly, this small town (~1,500 people) has one. We decided to give it a try. For a small-town restaurant, this place has a fair amount going for it. Upon walking in, the decor was much different than what I expected from the exterior. They had made it the typical bright, kitschy interior you expect in Mexican restaurants mixed with the wood ceiling and floors that existed in the previous restaurant. It was eclectic and interesting. The staff was very pleasant. Huge menu. I was a little let down from the chips and salsa. The chips were the thick, dense variety and seemed stale. I couldn't tell if they were or if that was just the type of chip it was. Some seemed staler than others, so maybe we were just unlucky and got a scoop from the bottom of the barrel where older chips remain with fresher ones. Either way, none of them were that great. The salsa was average. I couldn't quite get a read on it. Some bites tasted good and then some I got a hint of Pace jar salsa. Like they just threw some cilantro into the Pace salsa and called it a day. My husband didn't seem to notice that, however. We both ordered an enchilada dish. The interior of my enchiladas was very good, but the tortillas, again, were very dry and stiff-textured. To me, also seemed stale, so at this point I'm thinking that is just how this restaurant makes their corn products. We didn't care for it. My meal came with rice, which had a fishy taste. More like paella rice than rice that should accompany enchiladas or tacos or burritos. Just something to be aware of. In the end, I don't think I'll drive to eat here again, but if I were an Arcadia resident, I would definitely give it another try to see if I liked something else better. read more

Definitely a solid 3 stars. This is your average Midwestern Mexican restaurant...you can find places just like this all over Indiana. Nothing overly authentic here, although they did have horchata and a couple kinds of tacos that seemed mildly interesting. We sampled a variety of enchiladas, but I'll just list elements of them and other things we had: -Salsa was good. -Tomatillo sauce was good. -Red sauce for enchiladas was ok. -Rice was decent. -Beans were not good. They tasted off. -Cheese sauce for enchiladas was not good. They use the same runny cheese to top enchiladas and within the cheese enchiladas. Kinda felt like they were cutting corners here, basically using cheese dip in the enchiladas. -Carnitas enchiladas were good. I'd get these over any enchiladas with cheese in them. -Horchata wasn't good. My dad said it tasted weak. Overall, not too shabby but not great. It was about what I was expecting for a Mexican place in Arcadia, Indiana. Service wasn't overly jovial, but adequate. We might be back in a pinch but it's not somewhere I'd seek out. read more

Great fast service, But why refried beans?I really dislike them.Maybe another option,?

I was pleasantly surprised at how good this restaurant was. We ordered the street tacos, which had a generous portion of meat in each. The tacos came with rice and refried beans. The kiddos got corn dogs and french fries (came with more fries than a 300 pound man could eat!). Kiddos were happy with their meals! We also ordered a side Chimichanga (didn't come with beans or rice). It was ridiculously cheap for the size. And it was very good, too. read more

horrible experience here, placed a order over the phone yesterday she never replied with what we had ordered. she told us it would be 15 minutes got there in 10 minutes it was ready! we got charged for a coke we never ordered it was $5?????? & all of our order was wrong, we realized once we got home, called & explained that everything was wrong & our food was cold! we literally live 3 minutes away from the restaurant so that is just crazy?!? & we were told to come back so we did when we arrived they asked where the food was( over the phone they did not say to bring the food back just to come back) so we left again came back with the food that was made wrong! the guy the was talking to us the rest of the time after the woman messed up our order was definitely acting very weird! we got our whole order remade, got home & it was cold already! like i said we live 3 minutes away that shouldn't be happening! & then the cherry on top this morning around 5-7 am i was throwing up all the food i ate from them! i have no idea what they did to my food but i am never eating here again & i suggest others do not either! the customer service is horrible! read more

In town for a funeral and stopped in for lunch. Not much happening, a couple was waiting at the register, a group of 6 young women were sitting at a table a table and another group of 5 seated on the other side of an 8 foot barrier wall.... which I have no idea why it was erected. It took at least 5 minutes to spot an employee, after being seated it was another 5 minutes before he reappeared. Don't know how many roles he had perhaps all of them as I never did see another employee. Service was slow and food average....probably generous with 3 stars but giving them the benefit of the doubt since it was a one amigo show this day. read more

While in the past we have had good food and good margaritas here, last night both were not palatable. The drinks were terrible, the food tasteless. Jalapenos were not cleaned properly, lots of seeds in the Pico de Gallo. Fajitas were mostly onion, very few pepper strips, meat was tasteless and many pieces of grisle. Service was very slow waitresses not wearing masks properly, below their nose. Shoeless child running around in and out of the kitchen. We won't be back. read more

We like this place. The decor is not spectacular but food (fajitas) is good and people are very nice.

No matter what i order somehow my bill is always the same...its weird. But only restaurant near me so wont complain. Good and friendly

Good food, good drink specials. Went there for the first time tonight. Wasn't very busy which was good. I ordered a margarita and my husband got a pitcher of beer. My margarita was so sweet, I couldn't finish it. It tasted like there was no tequila in it. I don't think I'll get another one from there and will stick to beer. read more

Been there a few times and really enjoyed it each time except for one. Food seems to be consistently getting better and the margaritas are pretty good too. One time I didn't enjoy it was due to service and wrong orders for multiple people, but that was only once and about a year ago. Definitely recommend read more
