He had every reason in the book why he was capable, shortly after his wife told me about his issues with cognitive impairment and that he really needed the help that he was telling me he didn't need. The client allowed the care into the home on a temporary basis, which obviously would have ended quickly if there was a bad experience I want to tell everyone and anyone, that the other agencies the client had checked with wanted significantly more money per hour and blamed it on COVID. This company worked with the client to get the aide to adapt to the situation and kept in constant communication. The client is very pleased with the aide after being so resistant. Now the client is enjoying the aide that is helping him and I know they are safe. Within a week, I get a phone call from their son, thanking me, telling me that how safe he and the family members now feel. His voice gushing with appreciation. The best way that I knew to express their happiness and share it with others in the same situation was to post this on Yelp. South Florida is full of questionable home health care providers. Everyone is entitled to a bad day or a grumble when they are not at their best. But great services should also be acknowledged and shared. Based on the services they received the client is totally willing to continue ongoing services and receive the care they desperately needed. Great Job Boca Home Care Services.

PROS: There is someone who answers the phone during off hours. The nurse who showed up, Roberto,…read morewas excellent. CONS: Terrible INCONSIDERATE COMMUNICATION, EXTREMELY UNRESPONSIVE. Our doctor handled the order for a nurse to come every other day to take care of open wounds on my frail 84 year old husband's feet. Someone called to confirm that a nurse would come, but no one showed up when promised. I then called the woman who called me, asking for a call back, but she did not do it. Three days after the order was sent, I called the office number twice, before hours and during hours, and did speak to a nice man who said that the doctor had to rewrite the orders. He took care of that and sent Roberto that same day, which we appreciated. Roberto said that someone else would call us and would take over from then on, but three days later no one has contacted us. Out of 5 interactions, I had to initiate 4 of them. If I had not done that we would have had no help. As of today the help promised two days ago never took place. Roberto said that my husband's wounds are healing nicely, but we are not able to take care of them ourselves, and we still need help. I know how busy health professionals are, and I appreciate them immensely, but I do not respect people or agencies that say one thing and do another. JUST TELL ME WHAT IS GOING ON, AND IF YOU CANNOT DO THE JOB, I WILL TRY TO FIND SOMEONE ELSE. PLEASE.
