My husband and I found Pinkbox through our wedding photographer. We had a long engagement so we…read morebooked Pinkbox a long time in advance. I'd say almost 1.5-2 years in advance. And at first encounter, Joanna was such a joy to work with. She met us with the biggest smile on her face. She was open to hearing all of our ideas and was supportive of our vision. Needless to say, we booked with Joanna as our wedding videographer almost immediately. For the next 1.5 years, we spoke from time to time to follow up on minor details and to make payments. Transactions were always clear and easy. If I had any questions, Joanna was always very willing to answer. Consistent communication really didn't begin until the last 1-2 months before the big day. Once again, communication was direct, simple, and clear. About a month before the big day, Joanna sent us a questionnaire to inquire final details such as the songs we wanted for our video, the style, specific things we wanted to capture, etc. And then we hopped on a call to review all the details together. Joanna was receptive to all our input and provided us advice about certain things that really helped us have a smooth wedding day. On wedding day, Joanna and her assistant arrived early and was ready to work immediately. She collaborated with my wedding photographer and as a bride, I really did not have to worry about a single thing. I trusted them to capture all our special moments because of the rapport we have built and the detailed meetings we have had. Our photographer led most of the posing, but Joanna jumped in to help with shooting the content as well. It was much needed cause our wedding party often needed direction lol. We booked Pinkbox for 6 hours, but they were flexible in staying slightly longer just to make sure they got to capture our dance floor. They were with us almost the entire 6 hours and when they weren't I knew it was cause they were busy filming venue details or guest interactions. There was not a single time where I had to ask where are my videographers and/or were worried that a certain activity/event was not being captured. Finally, we received our highlight footage. Turn around time was really good, about 2.5/3 weeks. The video was absolutely perfect. They captured mine and my husband's love so well. They included ALL the things we asked for. It brought me to tears as I got to recall one of the best days of my life. And about 2 weeks after the highlight footage, we received a USB with raw footage of the ceremony, first look, speeches, and some other moments we requested. Thank you Pinkbox for including some extra clips in there as well. Those were memories we may have otherwise missed out on if it wasn't for Pinkbox recording and saving it for us. In addition, Pinkbox was so sweet because they created a custom Ornament for us with a photo of us and our wedding date! It came in a box with other goodies. We were so surprised!! I have messaged Joanna to say thank you so many times already but THANK YOU Pinkbox, once again, for capturing our special day. They did such a beautiful job and we are so incredibly grateful to have found them. One of the best choice we made for our wedding overall. We will ALWAYS refer all our friends and family to Pinkbox as they were amazing to work with, communicative, respectful, and creative. When I reached out to photographers, I was really looking for a solid connection as they would be capturing the timeless memories you will have cherished forever. Upon just emailing Joanna, seeing the packages she offered as well as debating on the number of hours and costs she was super responsive. I instantly connected with Joanna and it felt like we were just old friends catching up. I was comfortable spilling all my thoughts and concerns that were running through my mind (believe it or not the wedding budget adds up quick with all the expenses and is still piling). She answered all my questions and made me feel at ease and provided a timeline of what a 6 hour timeline would look like and really made me picture what the expectations would be for the big day, even if it was a year out and I truly appreciated that. We ended up booking 6 hour photography, videography, and an engagement shoot and it was the best decision ever! Since our wedding is coming up later this year, we recently had our engagement shoot and it was a BLAST!! Joanna is talented and passionate about photography and videography, she makes any couple feel comfortable while being photographed. She guides you from start to finish, has a keen eye for the perfect spots from lighting to color scheme to the mood! She has a calming demeanor that really makes it a lot of fun to be in front of the camera. No lie, at first my fiance and I were pretty awkward and asked Joanna how to pose or what to do and she calmly guided us.
