It is too cluttered and the customer service is just not nice. Once there was a tower of cardboard boxes blocking the glass display case. I tried to peek at the display case but was scolded for touching the pile of boxes. When I asked what was in the display case, they read me a long list of all the brands of pens they carry. Not really the "browsing" experience I was looking for. Another time I visited, there was a box of cards on the floor. I got on my knees to look at the box. An employee came quickly over and told me not to do that because I was blocking the aisle. I said that I wanted to look at the cards in order to pick some out, but I couldn't see them because they were on the floor. They solved the problem by picking up the box, setting it on top of another display, and waiting over me, blocking the aisle, while I chose the one I wanted. There are plenty of cards, notebooks, and decorations printed with words like s**t and f**k on them. Plenty of people (including myself) aren't offended by this, but it's worth knowing if you have young children and you don't want them to see profanity.

The staff was helpful and friendly (and also quite professional while on the phone with a man who (based on my eavesdropping) was asking if they could help him find a ghostwriter for his memoir). When they didn't have the book that I was looking for in stock, they gave me a few recommendations for other local bookstores which they thought might carry it. My friend and I came in 10 minutes before close, unknowingly, but the sales associate and manager helped me find exactly what I was looking for and didn't rush us at all. They also have a real-time tracker of the MBTA trains which is one of the coolest techno gems I've ever seen. If I could, I would buy everything in this store.
