So patient, so sweet, and clearly amazing with tiny humans who may or may not follow directions The only reason we stopped is because my daughter decided ballet wasn't really her thing at the moment. While the class was working on pointing their feet, she preferred to "swim" across the floor and occasionally pull her tutu up to her chest. I think she might've just been a little too young to fully grasp ballet structure. But when she's ready to keep her tutu where it belongs and follow the steps, we will definitely be back. As one can imagine, we were tired by the end of the route, but were welcomed by The Spot's owners to come in, have some warm pizza, desserts, and drinks. It was such a pleasant experience and we felt very much like family. My second experience was just this past weekend, when my daughter was generously given a t-shirt by the owner. Overall, it's an uncomfortable environment where the owners are always yelling/arguing with each other right in front of the parents/kids. I also find it unacceptable the constant yelling that occurs between the owners towards the other teachers. My "1" star rating is based on the following: 1) Unprofessional behavior (yelling/arguing) between the owners. 2) Dirty Bathrooms with no paper towels. Cloth towels are provided, but the same towel is used daily by everyone. Surfaces are never disinfected such as benches, doorknobs, and handrails. 3) Chaos in every recital. Constant changes are rarely communicated. 4) Love the recital but tired of seeing the owner (Geoff) in every other number. I come to see the kids perform, not a 60-year-old man performing with teenage girls. 5) Covid-19 Epidemic: As all the schools, universities, gyms, bars, movie theaters and restaurants closed, owners choose to keep dance studio open putting our kid's safety at risk. When the city placed restrictions, the owner stated they were staying open and simply setting their own guidelines (not adhering to the CDC guidelines) to keep students safe. When the entire state shuts down, how can Dancemaker be the only exception?

She was so sweet and nice to me especially as I'm a guy joining the class and really suggested popping off when I told her I had a bodysuit and heels. She even helped take pics of us after class :) The classroom and poles were rly clean! Had a bathroom to accommodate as well especially if ya want to change into a baddie of an outfit. Overall definitely recommend and will come back.

Had to think about my experience in this dance studio because as a non dancer who was genuinely curious about learning some dances, my experience here was less than fortunate. However, lets highlight some positives: 1. The owner Olga and the person on the front desk are really nice. You can tell that the owner is very structured in how she thinks about dance and when she talks to you there is passion in there. 2. The space is amazing and I can tell that they are super serious about dance. My experience however, on my second visit was awful. Again as a background, i have 0 dance experience and was just trying to learn some bachata. However, the instructor who was teaching bachata was literally on one. Basically calling me out infront of the class and highlighting how shit i am and then saying its because she loves everyone in the class that she is doing that. At one point she said some things about the steps and how some of us were doing it wrong and then stopped and looked at me and said, "It's YOU!! You are doing it wrong." Which at that point the class laughed. Seriously, i already know am shit, and am sure every partner knows am shit. That's why I am paying to take the classes, to get better. You know, I have taught a few things and one saying that's well known is "praise in public, criticize in private". I have no intention of become a professional dancer, so maybe a bit of grace might be good and if you have a problem with something i have done, as an instructor, pull me aside and talk to me. I am more than happy to make amends and apologize and have no ego. Anyway, my experience here was less than prime and honestly if it wasnt for Olga, salvaging part of the situation and issuing a refund, i would have gone lower in rating.

He's a good trainer BUT when it came to he's gf back than now wife for whatever reason she didn't like me ( jealousy only thing I can think of cuse I never did anything to her ) he did told me I was causing issues in he's relationship so we stop training for a while than I reached out to him I told him i really wanted to continue the training with him . We trained again. He did message me down the line he couldn't train me anymore to find a new trainer . I just think is very unprofessional of him were he could leave he's relationship and training aside . Unless u want to deal with a jealousy wife or gf u would have to deal with that . I'm very confident of myself so I don't know what issue it was . Overall he's a good trainer . Just not professional when it comes to clients
