He diagnosed the issue quickly, clean out needed to be made accessible so he could clear the clog, he installed a new cleanout no issue. He explained all the issues in depth to me. He attempted to clear the clog twice, first time was successful, second time knocked a block a gunk loose that prevented the pipes from draining for a day. Didnt charge me for the second attempt, turns out it needed to be jetted, put me in contact with some nice folks who could have it jetted and they charged me low. They did that, and he gave me a camera inspection for free afterwards. Good guy. Only small tiny gripe is that in terms of arrival times he can be a bit flaky sometimes heh. But I'm satisfied with the work he did. And he did a good job. So i'm happy to give him this 5 star review. Dude could have charged me for the camera inspection and chose not to. He is a man of good character.

I needed part of my basement dry walled last week and Van Fossen came over, gave me an estimate and promptly went out, got his supplies and was working on the issue in under an hour after arrival. And oh my gosh--was he amazing at his job! He went above and beyond what he said he would do, cleaned up after himself, and still came in under his estimate. Van Fossen was friendly, professional and knew his business. He's been doing this for decades and after speaking with him, I can honestly state he has a heart as big as the state of Iowa. It's rare you find a business that is so big on supporting the community that donates extensively of their time and talents and finances and this is a company that does exactly that. Use them. You won't be disappointed and you will find you've also made a friend.
