I ordered the salmon cooked medium, and it was extremely dry, almost the texture of jerky. It also had a noticeably fishy taste. Yes, salmon is fish, but fresh, properly prepared salmon is usually mild and buttery. This was neither. Looking at the dish, it was visibly overcooked, dry, and flaky rather than moist and tender, which was especially disappointing at this price point. The strip steak was equally underwhelming. The quality reminded me of something you might expect from a much more casual budget-friendly steakhouse. It lacked seasoning and overall flavor. STK offers flavored butters and enhancements for an additional charge, which is perfectly reasonable, but a steak at this price should be able to stand on its own. Instead, the enhancements felt more necessary than optional. What made the experience even more disappointing was that the restaurant wasn't particularly busy during our visit, so it wasn't a situation where the kitchen appeared overwhelmed or service was stretched thin. With the restaurant operating at a slower pace, I expected greater attention to quality and execution. The cocktails were another letdown. At most upscale restaurants, the drinks are part of the experience; creative, visually appealing, and memorable. These were very plain and uninspired, especially considering the cost. The atmosphere and ambiance are nice, but the food simply didn't justify the price. At this type of restaurant, you expect high-quality ingredients, expertly prepared dishes, and elevated cocktails. Our event coordinator had already been in contact with each hotel's sales team regarding room blocks, but my fiancé and I wanted to personally see the properties before recommending them to 30-40 hotel room blocks. Although we arrived after sales office hours, Liz at the front desk was exceptionally kind. She walked us through the restaurants commonly used for private events, explained the renovation timeline, and invited us to take our time exploring before returning to the front desk to view a standard guest room. Unfortunately, our experience changed when another employee, who later identified himself as Clayton, a manager, stepped in. It appeared he had been listening to our conversation but had not introduced himself. He abruptly informed us that we would not be able to view a room. We explained that our event coordinator was already working with the sales manager regarding room blocks and pricing, and that we were simply trying to ensure we felt confident recommending the hotel to our family and friends. Despite understanding the situation, he remained unwilling to accommodate the request. His only suggestion was that we purchase a room if we wanted to see one. For us, this interaction spoke volumes. Hospitality isn't just about beautiful rooms--it's about making potential guests feel welcomed and valued. If this was the experience we received as prospective clients considering multiple wedding events and dozens of room nights, it gave us pause about what our guests might experience. As a result, we will likely to move our room block, welcome dinner, Saturday event, and Sunday brunch where we're met with warmth, flexibility, and genuine hospitality from the moment we arrive. The Joule is undeniably a beautiful property, but customer service plays a major role in our decision-making. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling that our business was neither appreciated nor wanted.

We used valet for parking which is $40 for overnight and includes coming and going as much as needed. There is an attached garage option as well for self parking. Will definitely be back for future stays in Dallas!

The prices are very reasonable and they always do a great job explaining the process and helping us out. Recently my mother hosted a birthday for my little sister and it was a blast. They held more than 11 people and did a great job glazing our paintings in 1hr. We had the other hour to eat pizza that we provided although they have variety options that includes cake and pizza as well, we just didn't choose that since we had custom made cakes and other items.
