This small allowance of words cannot begin to express my satisfaction with Dr. Burks practice and his office staff. They really are a top notch facility. From the moment you walk in the door you are made to feel welcomed and very comfortable, you never have to wait past your designated appointment time and you are introduced to anyone who may be assisting Dr. Burks that day. Every member of the team at this office truly cares for their patients and wants nothing but the best for your experience. I appreciate Dr. Burks willingness to always answer any questions, take a conservative approach (never recommending anything out of the ordinary simply to sell you a new product), and overall living up to his slogan "quality dentistry with a gentle touch". In fact they are so gentle in his office that I was able to have a crown placed without Novocaine (as I have a high reaction and prefer topical anesthetics only) he took careful precaution in meeting my request and performed the procedure with the utmost care. Small town charm and hospitality with expertise typically found only in very expensive metropolitan areas. If you want attention to details, a caring nature and a million dollar smile I would recommend this office! It is hard to know where to begin!! Many years ago, I searched and searched hoping to find a dentist who would accommodate my allergies so that I can receive routine dental care safely. I was so discouraged as call after call, there were no dentists who would take the time to understand my allergy and my needs so that I can be seen by a dentist. I was to a point where I resorted to the fact that dental care would not be possible for me. And then I called Dr. Burks office and spoke to Holly. I knew from that very first conversation that I was with the right place. She asked me so many questions and spent the time to find out what I needed and how they could help to provide care safely for me. I remember feeling so nervous going to that first visit...would I be safe? would they understand? From the moment I walked in, I received such personalized care, that it almost brought me to tears!! Finally!! Someone understood and made my safety the number one priority. As I got to know the staff, I realized that this is how they all are... professional, caring, and making patient care and safety their top priority. These guys are just great. It's all about the friendly, personal service. Before moving to Florida I had other dentists who I liked and who provided similar dental expertise, but never this quality of service. The women at the front desk greet me by name every visit, Christy always asks about my family while expertly cleaning my teeth, and Doctor Burks is just as nice. I actually enjoy my trips to the dentist, even at the times where I've had significant work done. Dr. Burks is gentle and expert at his craft. His office is fully modernized and automated which makes each trip even easier. It's also worth pointing out that Dr. Burks gives so much back to the community. Dr. Burks is not on our insurance plan. BUT WE'RE STAYING! Learned the hard way a couple of years ago that not all dentists and their staff are alike. The staff is very personable and professional. Dr. Burks is the greatest. Besides our regular dental check ups and cleaning. We have been whitened and brightened with ZOOM, straightened out with Invisalign, plus had some edges smoothed and teeth glued. I am glad it was all done by Dr. Burks. When we have had to cancel an appointment they always try their hardest to reschedule. My husband is retired Army and we have been around.
