I needed an early taxi for to catch a bus to the airport, and I booked it with 1st - they were at my house in plenty of time (I had booked for 3am!!) and the driver was interested in where I was going and why. When I have a night out in town, 1st always get my business to take me home. I know that they won't go the longest way just to make an extra quid! They're more interested in providing a good service and getting repeat business, which means that they try hard every time. Their cars are always clean too - which can't be said about some of their competitors!!!
