It is owned by a father and son. We were looking for a BMW and so we went there after checking some google reviews. I would like to point out that most of their reviews are fake. Initially, the son of the owner showed 2 cars and they seemed ok. But once we went inside to discuss the numbers the whole story changed. First of all, the salesman which happens to be the owner's son showed us the carproof which had 6 months old report date. When I asked that if he had a recent version, he said you should be looking at the print date. Really?? Anyone can print a 10 year old document and the print date still will be today's date. This is a trap to sell you accidental cars. When we asked if the price could be matched with other dealers, the son called his father or the owner of the place and he started a very insulting conversation. They should advertise that it is a no haggle shop. They are not even willing to drop off a single dollar. They don't know how to talk to people and have no sense of customer service. The owner acts as a totally illiterate person. When we said that we are not willing to buy the car, he still kept pushing and jnsulting. He said show me how you are calculating the payments and started a debate. The cars are not worth it. They even charge the cost of detailing the cars from customers $400 which no dealer charges. It was our worst experience and we would not recommend anyone to go there. Also beware they may sell you a rental vehicle as they have a rental business as well.

It originally started back in the summer when we took the doors off for the first time on our brand new 2020 Jeep Gladiator. When putting the door pins back into the hinges with the designated tool that came with the vehicle a manufacturer defect caused the bolt to break off in the door pin (only one pin - the rest were fine no problems). We brought the vehicle in for service shortly after. After the appointment a very assumptive report was written that we must have used power tools and over torqued it why physically was impossible based on the way it broke. The door pin had only made it half way in before breaking clean in half. We debated with them over two visits that it should be covered under the warranty, which they refused to look into. The suggestion was to buy a whole new door hinge and pay to have it painted. Which would have been hundreds of dollars. Finally we called Jeep Canada and discussed with a representative over the phone about the warranty policy. Jeep Canada has determined that it should be covered fully. After a third visit and communicating this to the employees at Galt Chrysler we were told "well we don't usually do this and it shouldn't be covered but we will do this in good faith". Like they were doing us some kind of favour. Fast forward more than 3.5 months of waiting the door hinge that was being ordered still hadn't come in and no phone call had been made. We finally got the truck in and planned to have no vehicle for a day and my fiance receives a voicemail in the middle of his work shift that the door hinge has been painted the wrong colour and they need to keep it for a second day. He was unable to pick up the car on time because he works evenings and was forced to make arrangements with work. On the second day he gets a phone call around 10-11am saying that the door hinge is on and ready for pick up. But they hadn't put in a new door pin. This made no sense to the two of us. If it were to only take one minute to put in why isn't it done? Then he was told that the car key would be locked inside the vehicle. This was very important because we have issues with the functionality of the spare key. Last night we arrived to pick up the vehicle, he unlocks it the car alarm goes off and one of the only ways to shut it off is with the original key. Which is no where to be find. We struggled for 10 minutes trying to find the key, in the dark while the horn was blaring. This morning he returns first thing. A mechanic runs out to put the pin in. This takes 30 seconds (why he needed to return for this is beyond me. You don't complete half the job and say it's ready for pick up. ) and then he asks about his key which the technician knew nothing about. He then spoke with the account representative and all she could say was "sorry I forgot". That's all we ever get there is a sorry. 5-6 visits in less than 6 months and it's a head ache every time. My partner told them how dissatisfied he was and all they could say is we have good service please don't judge us on this one incident.... as you can see it isn't just "one incident". The complete lake of respect from them for our time, and the fact that they pretend like they did us some kind of favour when Jeep Canada hotline is the only reason anything got done. Safe to say we are extremely frustrated and will not be returning or recommending this dealership to anyone!

I decided to hit this Scotiabank before heading over to the carnival. This Scotiabank is in a plaza. It has a drive-thru. It's across from Tim Hortons that also has a drive-thru. It's like night and day comparing the craziness at Timmy's versus the calm at this branch. I entered this plaza from Saginaw Parkway. The drive-thru's exit sign was facing me. I needed to make a tight u-turn to get to the ABM. It works if you drive a small car. If you drive a huge limo, forget it! Before I reached the ABM, there was a sign with details on how to switch your mortgage to Scotiabank. It was all in capital letters, so this branch is obviously excited to get your business. It was also the most reading that I have ever done at any bank drive-thru in my life. I got to the ABM. I bank with Tangerine, so my card works at any Scotiabank ABM. I love that you can select your cash denominations and elect to not get a receipt if you want to save a tree. I got my cash quickly. I then saw another sign for more leisurely reading. You must be somewhat literate here, which was the vibe that I was getting. I decided to circle around the branch. It was open on an early Saturday afternoon with lots of parking around it. I also found the official drive-thru entrance. The better option is to enter from Franklin Boulevard. The lane is wide and it was nice getting the full, correct drive-thru experience. I had a great experience using the drive-thru ABM. Maybe I'll check out the branch next time when I'm in the area. (181)
