    All the reviews are correct about this place being a sham and shoddy customer service - (If I was…read moreable to give ZERO STARS I would) - Purchased an engine from them on ebay and their freight company lied about me telling them to deliver on a certain date when I specifically called them to tell them I would be out of town until said date and they told me to call them when i got back. WELL... got no help from the wonder seller here at JAP. What I did get was a bunch of BS and JAP told the freight company to send the motor back to them from TX to IL. The seller thought he was going to charge me for the shipping both ways but he was severely mistaken - PAYPAL of course refunded me the funds in full - and the seller was responsible for the shipping to me which was 193.00 and the shipping back to him which who knows what the dollar amount was... IF JAP was so customer service oriented and provided honest reliable parts - then why would the seller not have tried to communicate and see if we could work something out that would have been the least cost to both of us. Instead he accused me of setting an appt up which I wouldn't have done because I had contacted the shipper and told them I would be out of town said days and then failed or ignored my responses and while I waited (an entire day) behind my back the same morning had the shipper return the engine to him. He failed to communicate with me at all telling me what the resolution could or would be - did not even have the courtesy to tell me that he had directed the freight company to return the engine to him... I contacted the freight company and got that information from them.... DUMB MOVE and a COSTLY ONE TOO!!! -- The seller did not even try to work with me or even offer suggestions to get this issue resolved. I offered to go pick up the item from the freight company terminal - they told him it would cost 89.00 to pick up the item - which is a bunch of BS....The seller is obviously not capable of working out issues with customers and did not do his due diligence to have the freight company fix their mistake - I would have even offered out of goodwill to possibly pay half of the pickup costs so the seller wouldn't have to bear the expense of shipping both ways. But instead he chose the sneaky way about it.. ignored the customer... had the heavy engine sent back to him, and in the long run - he ended up with almost 400.00 in extra expenses (shipping, paypal and ebay fees) and had to refund me the 560.00 paid for the ebay auction. Lastly, to continue his shady practices and lies - he leaves a response to my feedback that is backed full of untruths and does show that he is not to be trusted - SO BEWARE purchasing anything from Junction Auto Parts -- IT could cost ya!! - Fortunately for me - I was able to avoid this by proper documentation and calling his lack of customer service to the forefront - I hope this helps further peeps from having to deal with this type of BS and will prevent you from getting bad parts from this bad business....

    My son called this auto salvage business for a quote on hauling and junking two cars, one belonging…read moreto my son and one to me. A woman, who I believe is the parts counter customer service representative (the only woman employed there, I believe), told my son they would pay us $250 per vehicle for a total of $500. Later, my son called again to arrange for Erickson to pick up the cars, and the man who answered the phone told him that they would only pay $225 per vehicle. When my son told the man that the earlier quote was $250 per car, he repeated that they would only pay $225 per car. We decided to call other salvage yards, and got a number of other quotes. My son called Erickson one more time to see if he could talk to the woman who quoted $250 per car, which was one of the higher quotes. The parts counter woman answered the phone and instead of honoring her previous quote she gave a third quote -- this time $225 for one vehicle and $200 for the second. I got on the phone and asked why they gave three different quotes within a few hours for the same service removing the same vehicles. The woman told me the price of scrap metal had dropped during the day (January 19, 2015). However, I am quite sure scrap metal prices do not change twice in one day, and I'm fairly confident that scrap metal prices didn't change at all the day we called, since it was Martin Luther King Day. I asked for the business owner's phone number, and the parts counter woman told me she would not give me the number. I asked for the number again, and she refused again to give me the phone number. I told her I would file a BBB complaint, and she told me to go ahead and then slammed the phone down. I filed the complaint, and posted here as well. Get a written quote, and then cross your fingers, too.

I was always expecting high level or customer service from Mercedes dealer and your "WTF" had complete changed that. I am not sure whom you are to the company believing that your unprofessional and rude texts will win a customer.
