Buyer selected this company. Inspector Freeman, during his inspection damaged my trey ceiling in the living room during his inspection in the attic. I have pictures before inspection and after. House shown by other agents numerous times, no damage to ceiling. The appraiser pointed it out during the appraisal the next day. Of course he didn't take responsibility for it and neither has his company. He said he was "baffled" and asked the listing agent "who takes pictures of a ceiling?". Never use a company that doesn't take responsibility for his actions!

Mr. Hebert Inspected a home that I was purchasing from my grandfathers estate. Paul is a really…read morenice guy who is friendly and responsive to emails, texts and phone calls. Based upon Mr. Hebert's report and the conversation we had following the inspection, he said that the home was in great shape. I moved forward with the purchase of the home. After spending thousands of dollars renovating the home we had a nice little rain which caused the roof to leak. When the roofer came to the home to patch the roof it was brought to my attention that the roof had been patched at least 3 times and that it was in disrepair. I revisited my home inspection because when Paul and I had a man to man conversation following the inspection he told me the roof was 5-10 years old and it had plenty of life left it in, that he would have purchase the home if it was his money. I hired a company to help me get the home leased and as we were doing our walk around it was brought to my attention that we had a major crack on the back side of the home with potential foundation issues which also caused a large crack in one of the windows. Upon reviewing my report there was no mention about the cracks on the side of the home and when we did our walk through he failed to bring this to my attention. Paul did admit that he completely missed the crack on the side of the house and the crack in the window. I finally called Mr. Hebert to address my concerns. He was prompt to answer and came over the very next day to reinspect the home. I was told that I could have my money back on the inspection which I was glad to take. However, when he pulled out the check book to write me a check I was told the only way I could receive the check is if I signed a waiver of liability. I asked to see the waiver and to my surprise it was hand written on his report. I refused to sign it and he told me that the only way I would receive my check is if signed his hand written wavier of liability. After filing and insurance claim and complaint with the State Board I was told to review my inspection report next time before I purchase the home, which I found very unprofessional. I spent plenty of time reviewing the report and spent time walking the property with Mr. Hebert. The patched roof and the cracked wall were not mentioned in the report. Beware!

He was extremely thorough with his report and went over it with me patiently. He answered every question I had, and I had many. We backed out of that contract and found another place. He came back over to inspect this one, and once again we were treated with a very thorough walk through and inspection. Very pleased with his detailed inspection and reporting. Definitely recommend him to anyone who is in need of a home inspection!
