I pulled up the floors myself to save a little, he made sure to give me tips to help me along. He said he would be here for 8am, and he was right on time every time. It's hard to find good honest hard working people in this terrible world we live in, and I can honestly say that Matt is one of the few. The crew began work on April 2, 2018. The poor workmanship consisted of overspray of product on pool coping, dripping of the product which cause bleaching of an area on the 1 year old pool liner, settling of about 2" of cement dust on the bottom of the pool, and sloppy work on the expansion joints. Mr. Ron sent his crew back twice to fix the problem areas. It has been almost 3 months and the issues have not been resolved to our satisfaction. I am extremely frustrated that it has taken this long and the project is still not finished. Someone else will complete this project.

They both had to leave at 1:30 and stated that they had 15 more minutes of work on the drain and wanted to come back the next day (July 4th). We told them that we had company coming so we would wait till Monday, but they insisted that the helper would come @ 8:30 or 9 and would be done in 15 minutes. He didn't show until 10:30 and stayed for 1 1/2 hours because he kept having a leak. We had to keep turning the water on and off at the main valve even though we had company over for lunch. Then he handed us a bill even though the work was not complete. The work done till this point was $1070...for moving a drain. We had called the office and asked for the cost and was told $130 per hour, however we were charged $180 per hour for the 4 1/2 hours on the 3rd and $140 per hour for the 1 1/2 hours on the 4th. We called the office and asked the office manager how much for 1 plumber (her answer was $130) and how much for 2 plumbers (she said $150). When we questioned them about charging inflated charges, their answer was they got more because they came in 2 trucks. Really??? Now no one will return our calls, the drain was not moved to the correct place (they were 2 inches off in one direction and 1 inch off in the other direction, so the drain for the new tub still did not fit.) We had to alter the base of the tub to accommodate their mistake. 2 1/2 weeks later they still have not shown up to finish the job and they will not return our phone calls. Very bad customer service. Poor workmanship.

Ali has been in business a long time and he builds a good 20 to 25 homes a year…read more The price range I've seen is in the low 200s to probably about 600k which is a pretty popular price point for a wide range of consumers. Overall Ali and his team do a good job but he does tend to have overly optimistic time frames and our 4 months timeframe was many months longer than that. Some was weather but some was hiring crews of 1 or 2 instead of full crews who can knock out stuff in 4 days instead of 4 weeks. (Interior trim was 1 guy for a month) Ali is great at building homes and knows how to get them done but he also needs to remember that on custom homes he's being hired to build a custom home they want and not the home he is going to build and give to them. It's a fine line but there is a definite distinction. Overall we're pleased with our home and we'll see how the warranty "touch ups" go after the first year. Enjoy!
