4Points has been servicing my furnace and AC for five years. They're reliable, knowledgeable, and always super kind to me and my little dog! Justyn, who usually always is the one who comes out for my AC maintenance, had been telling me for years that my AC was on its last legs. He never gave me the hard sell or made me feel weird about pushing it instead of replacing it. It's as old as Taylor Swift, and it lasted 35 years before it finally gave out ... during the hottest week of 2024 so far (natch). I scheduled for 4Points to come out to give me a quote, but I also got three other quotes. This is where 4Points' customer service comes into play. Especially with home improvements, it can be easy to want to go with the cheapest option. Or the perceived cheapest. Of the other quotes I got, none of the people who came to my house gave me a detailed description of what was included (even the emailed write-ups were pretty basic). When Justyn came, he looked at the items to be replaced and then sat down with me to tell me about it being permitted and HERS tested, that they would flush the lines because of the new Freon my new unit would have, and even reviewed the bids I already got with me. He pointed out that none of them clearly mentioned being permitted or tested, and he even sat with me (and Penny the poodle) while I called the other companies for clarification. In the end, Justyn was able to work with his boss, Martin, to get my price down since they do price matching as long as it's apples to apples. Since these other bids were pretty vague, I was really happy with the agreed-upon price. Knowing that it would be done right and that 4Points is such a solid company made it a no-brainer. The guys came two days later and installed my beautiful new AC, and it works like a charm! So thankful to have 4Points in my corner! So long, 1989 AC unit! read more

Martin came out to give us a quote on our A/c that seemed to have finally failed (it is 20 years old and flooded a bedroom in the home the night before he arrived). In hopes it may be able to be repaired, we purchased a part before he arrived hoping if it had a repair left in its life we could have the system fixed. Martin arrived in the time frame promised, and the office staff was so communicative and helpful. Martin was so honest! He said although the unit was definitely going to greener pastures soon, he made sure to give his all in getting the a/c up and running with a repair. He was so efficient and awesome!!!! He got the a/c to run and left the property clean! He left us a quote to replace it, with several AFFORDABLE options. We were terrified we would have to pay out of pocket, but were put at ease when they told us we could finance a new unit once it was time to replace it. I have been using this company to service my system for two years. The guy came out two days ago and told me I needed to completely replace my system. He said the blower on my system was full of oil, it was blowing oil and my system was rusted. He said I should replace it. He then gave me a quote to replace my entire AC and heating system. The quote was for 16,000. Then he also gave me three other quotes One for 9000, one for 7000 , and for 6000. Then he gave me a last quote for a Band-Aid fix. Which was for $800 and some change. I had a second opinion. The guy came out, looked at my system and said my system was one of the cleanest systems he had ever seen. No oil was on the blower and everything was functioning like it was brand new. Do not use this company, they will rip you off. Take your money when you don't need any repairs done. read more

These guys service all my units, and since I have a service contract with them, if I have a problem they show up the same day or the next. Just yesterday I reported a problem with one of my units, they showed up a couple of hours later and told me I needed a part replace. Since I have a contract with them they gave me a discount price, in total the price was very reasonable. I travel for work and the fact that I know that if something happens I don't have to worry about my house getting to 100 degrees. I don't think I'll ever change companies as long as I'm in the IE. Great experience. I received a text message before the technician arrived with a picture of the tech and a bit about them. Once he arrived they were masked up and put on shoe wraps before walking into my house very appreciated because I have a little one. Gave great options to fix my very old AC which included the cost of repair along with the cost to replace the unit. We went with a new unit and they got us in with a week for install and the technicians who came to install the unit where great as well very fast and would apply shoe protection when having to come into the house. After many years of using window AC's to try and cool my home I finally decided to install an AC system, I stopped by the office and requested an appointment for an estimate and products they installed, the young lady was friendly and helped set up an inhome appointment within a week. As scheduled, the representative arrived and discussed the options available, and what was required for my size of home, he also discussed financing. At no time was I treated as a fool, which other reps from other from other installers had made me feel, he gave me a set price for what I required, set up the financing, and set a start date 3 days later, expecting to be completed in 2 days. First to arrive was the electrician, set up the electrical, then the installers, they were polite respectful and hard working, they installed the units inside and out, and completed the job on the second day. Today has been a hot day here in San Berdo, but, cool inside my home, AC is working great, able to sleep comfortably, we're very happy with the fast, quality service provided, I've recommended this company to a couple of friends, these people were great to deal with. read more

The new home we purchased in 2017 had less than...um...how do I say this? Some appliances were on the lower-end price range. Right away there were issues with the heater. 4 Points technicians (Martin & his Dad Martin) came and fixed the problem. (And explained what they were doing and why the we're doing it.) Then they came out and inspected the A/C before summer. A-Ok! We recently has A/C problems and they immediately came out to access the problem. Not only did I receive same day service, but the Tech was onsite within 2 hours of the call so I didn't have to have to be billed for emergency service. Not happy. I paint to have heating fixed, and they came out and fixed it. Then they said I needed a test on my unit, but they had to come back another day. They came out today, I paid them, they acted like used car sales men trying to sell a new unit and then shut it down so i could not use it. The sighted a change in government regulation than from when they fixed it initially. I would not recommend to anyone their serve. I'm 60 years old and I had to climb on a ladder and lift myself up in the attic and turn on the gas to heating unit to get it to come on and work in the middle of winter, informing them I had elbow and shoulder surgery. To anyone, run. One star is a over rating. Actually the service tech from another company just left. Said there was zero CO admissions being released into the air and the panel to heat exchanger was never remove. He also said there was a fresh hole drilled into the vent that exits the roof. Had know idea why that would be done. Fixed the hole that was drilled and retested for CO and gave a all clear. read more

We were contacted about doing a service on our recently 1 year + AC/heater unit. Thinking they were affiliated with the company that installed our unit we agreed. They came out, did their thing and left. After they left, the heater would not come on. I text the 1 guy and let him know. He stated it was working when they left and to call the office and they can come back out. I found out they were not affiliated with our original company. I contacted our company and explained what happened. They set up an appt for this morning 1st thing. The person who came out inspected everything and found that the igniter had been removed and just set back there. To sabotage our system. He took pictures of everything. Luckily our company authorized the fix with no charge. We are going to sue, if we don't get our money back. Immediately. We are also going to report this to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and any other bureau we find available for such crooks. SHAME ON YOUR COMPANY for employing such people, or worse yet for CONTINUING TO EMPLOY them!!! And I just got a text from one of them saying that the trainee did the work. Daniel initially came out for an estimate for duct work. However, that didn't fix my problem because my ac had broken down, and my warranty and home insurance would not cover it. Daniel spoke to his supervisor and he looked at my ac and confirmed that it had broken down. After going over different options for a new system Daniel did his best to provide us with the best offers beating all other estimates I had received that week. We proceeded with a brand new complete system for an offer that I could not turn down. Martin, Daniel and their crew came out for a complete HVAC and duct project the next day.
