They are the worse. I just got off the phone with this real idiot he was really disrespectful and what blows my mind he is the manager. Oh I am going in there today and give this guy a peace of my mind. The only thing that I ask for if you guys have dogie pallets they are used for when the dog goes to the bathroom. I explain to this unreal manager 5 times and had to repeat myself what they were. You think at the start he would ask me what is it. No this fool says right away that he doesn't have them. I ask him do you know what they are. He said no i assume it was a treat. I got upset with him because he wouldn't listen to anything I was saying then had the nerve to give me an attitude sigh over the phone and try to end the conversation with me. I told him you are very unprofessional, very rude, and have no respect. He told me he doesn't have to tolerate this and said I was yelling. I started laughing because this guy is CRAZY and delusional. I said who was yelling i dont yell at people. You are the one acting crazy treating me so wrong, and again disrespectful. Then he had the nerve to hang up on me. I am lost for words right now. Because i come in there pretty often for my dog. I will make sure I will tell everyone who i know including the upper manager about his behave and professionalism. I don't know who the hell he think he is. You don't treat people the way you do and think it is right. He will not get away with this I guareente you. I don't know his name because he wouldn't give it to me because he knows he will get in trouble. One I know for a fact he is gay the way he sounds and this happened today On September 18 th on a Tuesday around 2pm they will know who work that day and talk to him. I've been taking both of my goldendoodles here for a few years. I also board them at 4 Paws overnight when we go on vacation. It's super easy to schedule daycares, and track everything through their online portal. My dogs see the daycare from the car window and start jumping up and down in the car with excitement. They have so much fun there, they fall asleep on the car ride home every single time. Its nice because they offer grooming and obedience classes on site too. On Valentines day this year, both of my pups got Valentines ;-) The owner of this place is always thinking of fun new things for the dogs (and owners!), and really does love each dog like they are his own. He knows about personality of all the dogs, so when I ask him a question about mine, he can talk about them and tell me how they are with the other dogs in the pack, and it puts me at ease. He always makes them sit before he opens the gate and lets them go for the day--I appreciate him reinforcing our training that we try to do at home too. Through the years, I have taken my dogs to 4 Paws Playhouse for both boarding and daycare. The dog doesn't want to leave there when I arrive to pick her up! Since I work downtown, I have a long day and my girls really enjoy the interaction with other dogs, rather than be at home alone all day long. The drop off and pick up times are convenient for me, also. The facility has no cages, even at night the dogs sleep with the human in a bedroom on a bed, just like at home. One of my dogs was blind and they took extra care to be sure she didn't get lost in the shuffle of the other dogs. As evidenced by their photos, you can see the dogs just love it there. They have outside time when the weather permits and if they can't go outside, the facility is very large, enough for all the dogs to play comfortably. The staff is diligent in keeping the place clean and safe for the dogs and their interaction with the dogs is excellent. I highly recommend 4 Paws Playhouse. read more

Owner Dave and all his workers are the best that there is ... Giuseppe goes to visit his furry friends and has an awesome play-time. He comes home totally exhausted. The best part of 4 Paws is there are NO CAGES!!!!! When it's bedtime, the human sleeps with all the boarding dogs. It is truly an awesome place. Giuseppe's Uncle Nino also goes there. I usually send Giuseppe there when Nino is going so he can introduce him to all his furry friends. 4 Paws is super clean and all the workers are so very kind, thoughtful and very pet and human friendly. There are tennis balls galore to play with and pools to swim in when it is warm weather. Giuseppe gets so excited when I mention that we are going to 4 Paws. I've brought my dog Bones to other daycares and this is by far the one he's visibly excited to go to. When I took him to Petsmart he was excited for the first time but after that he didn't like it. I took him to Camp K-9 and he was absolutely MISERABLE there mostly just sitting there waiting for me to come get him. But when I take him to 4 Paws he really shows that he likes it time and time again. Not to mention that it's a one stop shop for food, toys, and treats as well. Not to mention that the staff there are always so enthusiastic when they see me pull up with Bones. There's this one employee there named Evelyn who just squeals with joy when she sees him. I'm glad that my dog can make the staff as happy as they make him. Overall I think this place is one of the most genuinely friendly and pleasant places to bring your dog. read more

I wouldn't trust my pooches to any other group of dog lovers. 4 Paws is a top notch doggie daycare, and anytime I had either of my furry family members stay overnight or even a week long, I knew they were being taken care of in the best possible way. Every pup that is lucky enough to hang out with this big-hearted, fun-loving human pack is treated like their own. My big guy Tazer (lab) cries all the way there, because I'm not driving fast enough to get him to the playhouse. My little Princess loves getting the extra cuddles and attention from every member of the team, when she's there. Hands down, 4 Paws Playhouse is the next best place for anyone's dog to be besides home. Just ask my two canines! I wish there more than 5 stars to give. I am a very overprotective dog mama and Dave and his entire staff had given me piece of mind when I use their services. My Sammy has sleepovers with his best friend Giuseppe. I can go on vacation knowing my dog is in safe, loving and caring hands. I love the fact that my dog isn't caged. I also appreciate the screening process before a dog is even accepted. Dave is a very hands on owner/operator. My position in the business world is a senior consultant that specializes in customer service. I wish I could take Dave and his staff with me because they epitomize the gold standard in customer service. I cant say enough great things about 4 paws! My 2 yr old dog Kane has been going here since he was 6 months old and he loves it just as much as we do! From day one I have felt confident with his care. Kane gets a full day of fun and socialization with other dogs of all breeds and sizes. I especially enjoy the Facebook photos and videos that the staff posts showing all the fun the dogs have. Kane loves pool day! 4 Paws Playhouse in Oak Forest has had our business for day care and boarding for a year. The young staff and energetic owner keep my 8yr old mixed terrier busy with play indoors and out. The photos posted on FB tell the tale, so do the tails. The boarding is cage free and my dog is happy to get to nap time and OFCOURSE lights out at bedtime. Staff member with the pups all night is comforting for me and I have seen video of snuggle time too. It's a great spot and and Dave King requires Vet checks to assure you that your dog is with healthy dogs. I wish I could rate 4 paws with more than 5 stars. This place is a dogs dream!! We started bringing our dogs here last year, and I wish we would have found it sooner. The place is always clean, the workers treat our dogs like their own, the price is unbeatable and to top it off, they just started selling dog food so it's literally a one stop shop for us. By the time we pick up our dogs in the afternoon, they are so worn out from playing all day they sleep the rest of the night. 4 Paws Playhouse is wonderful. It gives me such peace of mind when I drop my dogs off for daycare or boarding. It's very clean, reasonably priced and best of all it's a great home away from home for my 2 dogs. It's just like a home setting. NO CAGES, and on the overnights, my dogs sleep with the person who stays there all night with them. They love playing with their friends there and the rubber floors are friendly on their paws. I brought two healthy puppies to this daycare and after one day they were immobile. This was either neglectful play or hot pavement that burned all four of their paws. The owner claimed that my dogs showed no signs of pain, so they were left outside to play for 8 hours. She only paid half of the vet bill and never refunded my daycare purchase. It's a shame. We have been bringing one of my dogs here for several years and the other since we adopted her a year and a half ago. They both love it even though they are older and can't always keep up with the rest of the pack. Everytime I leave the house they are hopeful they get to take a trip to 4 paws!
