I have never written a bad review before, and I feel bad because when I walked into the…read moreestablishment, it looked like only the owner was there and one chef. Me and one other woman were standing there for over 15 to 20 minutes, waiting for her to take our order. I placed an order for a Poké bowl. After waiting another 20 minutes, my bowl was finally ready the owner kindly notified me that although I asked to have my sauce on the side the chef accidentally spilled a little in the bowl. Which is no problem, although once getting home and opening up my food, I noticed that it was not just a spill, and that the chef actually dumped the entire sauce bottle in my bowl. And also to add on top of that, I ordered salmon and tuna in the bowl only to come to find that I could barely even find any of the protein in there as the fish was diced into tiny pieces, smaller than a pinky nail size and barely a teaspoon of each. The kitchen and lobby area also looked in very much disarray. Unfortunately, I will not be coming back here.

They offer a huge selection of healthy açaí bowls and smoothies with something for everyone. I had the açaí superfood bowl and it was delicious and a great value. The açaí could have been blended a bit better; I found a few chunks of spinach and banana but otherwise it was great. Staff is friendly and it was clean and nicely decorated. I'd highly recommend nekter for your next smoothie!

My daughter and I went here for the first time. There was parking on the street, and I believe…read morethere was a small parking lot near the store. It was raining, but we quickly made it inside. We found the salad bar we'd heard about and a soup station. We both decided on a bowl of soup. It was less than $5 per person, and the soup station also offered crackers or bread for an additional fee. The utensils (metal and plastic) were actually located near the entrance of the Co-op, not the soup station. The Co-op had a membership that appeared to offer a slight discount on prices. Overall, the Co-op was quiet, offered a mix of organic and specialty items, with a deli, salad bar, and soup station. Their cashiers were friendly. It definitely reminded me of Trader Joe's and Sprouts. Definitely would return and recommend.

**November 2025: Sunday Afternoon Visit**…read more My mom and I were looking for some local Montana gifts and food and saw the huge Co-op building on a drive down Main Street. The parking lot is kind of small, but we were able to find a spot to squeeze into on our visit. When you enter the building you'll see an impressive self-serve section and I noticed quite a few people loading up their plates or to go boxes. There's an island of ingredients to make your own salad and a couple of home made soups, and another area for hot items. My mom and I decided to share a squash soup, a small salad, and an assortment of hot items including South Carolina pulled pork, mac n cheese, biscuits and gravy, and mashed potatoes. I also decided to try a local kombucha which was really refreshing. We grabbed our utensils close to the exit and headed upstairs to enjoy our food. After we devoured everything we perused the main floor and bought a lot of Montana based goodies including teas, Bequet caramels, soaps, and skincare products. Suffice to say I spent quite a bit of money here, but I'm happy to support local and be able to share the Montana spirit with my family and friends! I'd say Community Food Co-op is kind of like a cross between Trader Joes and Whole Foods, but with a great emphasis on sustainability and local goods. Price range is $$-$$$ range depending on the items.

Hidden gem, now available in Bozeman! Stopped to get El Rodeo (my favorite authentic Mexican food…read morein Bozeman!) at the mall location and noticed Jugo was thriving! Decided that my tacos would go nicely with a Mexican smoothie called Playaso, which came recommended by the cashier. The playaso smoothie included pineapple, mango, orange, coconut, banana and yogurt. It was incredible!! They come in two sizes: 16 or 32 oz which are both great for their price, especially when you get free whipped cream to top it off. I shared my 32oz and it was perfect. Their menu includes fruit "milkshakes", smoothies, juices, and fruit bowls. Everything was very traditional like you'd see offered in a Mexican fruit market and the staff mostly speak Spanish. In other words, it's super legit which is hard to find out in the Rockies! I'll be craving this place soon enough, so spread the word so we can enjoy them for years to come!
