I tried the cinnamon bun and at first I was disappointed that it didn't come with frosting, but once I tasted it, all disappointment went out the window. It was unbelievably flakey, soft and flavorful. It was dusted with sugar, bursting with cinnamon and indulgent. It was easily one of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had and now I know why Wild Crumb is so popular!

The almond croissant was good, as was the roll, but they were both beyond flaky--too flaky--and crumbs and powdered sugar were flying everywhere. In hindsight, we wish we had gotten a savory item to round things out because, overall, nothing was bad but nothing was capital-G Great. The staff are super friendly and helpful, but there was no one bussing or cleaning tables, so everything was pretty unkempt. We think it's 3.5 stars, but we're rounding up because we really enjoyed the overall vibe of the place and can see ourselves coming back on future visits.

It is honestly shocking that a coffee shop can serve something this bad and act like it is normal. Since when did people decide espresso is supposed to taste like a spoiled science experiment instead of actual espresso? Good espresso should be rich, balanced, smooth, and have some depth. This tastes like badly pulled shots made from garbage beans, or both. Every sip has that sharp, rotten edge that makes you immediately regret spending money on it. The frustrating part is the shop itself has potential. The atmosphere is decent, but none of that matters when the actual coffee tastes this bad. If your entire business is built around coffee, the coffee cannot be the worst thing about the place. I would not go back.
