We arrived first and even though it was a little after 12:00 noon on a Saturday, we were promptly seated. Our server Desseray greeted us promptly, and we ordered iced teas while we waited for the son to arrive. It was a pleasant surprise to hear that both the peach and strawberry flavored teas came in unsweetened and sweetened versions! Hubby ordered the unsweetened peach tea and I enjoyed the strawberry tea. Both were delicious and thirst quenching. Hubby had the garlic tilapia and shrimp with a Caesar salad and red beans & rice, while I had a vegetable plate with the baked potato soup, broccoli casserole, mashed potatoes, baby carrots, and Southern green beans, and the son had a top sirloin steak with a Caesar salad and French fries. The Caesar salads were eaten before I could get pictures taken! All of the food was delicious, but I had to bring home the green beans and mashed potatoes for another meal. A piece of carrot cake went home with the birthday boy!", while Hubby and I brought home glasses of tea. Our server Desseray checked on us frequently, refilled Hubby's tea a few times, as well as offered to-go cups of tea, and overall provided great service for our experience. The deduction of one star is due to how the HVAC vents are positioned in the bar dining area such that air blows on diners in the booths, and the air felt cold today even with the heat on. It's not the first time that I've been cold due to this situation, but today Hubby sitting next to me instead of across from me blocked some of the air from hitting me, and I kept my scarf around my neck to block more. However, this problem is due to the design of the building and not the staff of the restaurant.

Even though they weren't busy at all they told us it'd be a 15 minute wait. We agreed and waited. They seemed annoyed that we didn't decide to leave. If I had it to do over again I would have. They took our order right away. I ordered 16 oz steak tips, fries, and salad. Price 24.99. The salad wasn't bad but the steak tips were mostly inedible (full of gristle that was rock hard). I should have sent it back when they first brought it out and it looked like something that someone had already tried to chew up once. They mostly stayed on top of our drink refills. I don't think I'll risk a 2nd experience at this establishment. The steak tips were the worst I've ever had. I didn't see any reason why we needed to wait 15 minutes other than it really seemed like they wanted us to leave. Also their restrooms are in the foyer between the main entrance and the 2nd set of doors. There wasn't any heat or hot water in the restrooms. Considering that it was less than 20 degrees outside, it made for a very uncomfortable experience.

I've been to a few BO locations. I like how this one displays local photography. I also liked how friendly the people were. But what I really liked was the food! We ordered the tailgate special, for $19.99. It consisted of 12 chicken tenders and 2 sides, biscuits and a half gallon of tea. They let us mix up between the regular tenders and Cajun style. Honestly there isn't much difference and I'm usually a sissy when it comes to spice. The bbq sauce is awesome and they gave us several containers. For our sides we chose 2 fries. The fries are perfectly seasoned and amazing. They sell the fry seasoning salt and I was tempted to buy a shaker of it, but I don't need help with eating fries, they are my weakness. The biscuits are excellent too. Everything was piping hot and 5 star fast food.

So it is located to the side of a road where the speed limit is like 45 mph (but you know people are going to be booking it at 55 and over) and not only that, the entrance only has a stop sign pointed towards anyone trying to exit out of it (This could easily be mistaken as a one way). Since businesses (and this goes for most businesses in KY) tend to have compartmentalized property, there is only one way in and one way out; there is no entrance if one were to come here through the neighboring McDonald's parking lot. The actual item I decided to get was the cajun filet chicken biscuit because some food website was raving about how it is a #1 item; however, I never noticed the cost of a biscuit. It is like $4.19! So with how expensive a biscuit sandwich is and the fact that it was so dry when I bit into it (tasty but dry); it would make sense why I gave it the rating that I did.
