We loved the kanom jeeb, then tried the chive dumplings and they became our new favorite appetizer. They also adjust the seasonings to your taste preference and that's a real plus. This review is based on our first time delivery order. First of all, I have to give it 5 stars…read moresimply because I found absolutely nothing to complain about, and plenty to praise. Let's talk about the delivery, which was so quick that the food came so hot it burnt my finger when a small amount of sauce got on it while opening the container. Now on to the food itself. We ordered 2 combo plates, a sweet & sour pork and a pork egg foo young. The sauces for both were perfect. I was especially pleased with the egg foo young sauce, which has been disappointing in the last 2 Chinese places we've eaten meals from. The pork in both entrees was plentiful and not gristly or too chewy at all, another problem in other places. The very best item, which I will order many times again, is the egg foo young. The patties were huge and generously filled with both pork and veggies. The taste was perfection. Side accompaniments are the pork fried rice and an egg roll. The egg rolls came to us extra crispy on the outside, which is how we like them. Some may prefer them fried a bit shorter time, but not us. The fried rice was quite tasty, with chunks of pork that you could actually see. Some others chop the pork so fine it is hard to distinguish that it is in the rice. Last, but not least, is our appetizer. We chose the BBQ ribs. The price seemed a bit high for a small order, but what we got amounted almost to what I would consider a large order. There were 5 very generous pieces with an amazing sauce that clung to the meat and enhanced our enjoyment. Each rib was meaty, with no hard shriveled up pieces to chew on, which is another huge complaint at other places. All in all, I believe we have finally ended our search for the best place to go when in the mood for Chinese cuisine. Two thumbs up for this one.

Maybe more, I just can't remember when he worked while in Lancaster. It's been too long. Every time I had tried to come check this place out, they were closed. Do, definitely check out their hours before coming here. I just so happened to be in Lancaster during the week and swung by. The place is nondescript and kind of a hidden spot. It's quite reminiscent of an old pub when walking in. It's quiet. But it's a good spot to have lunch with a coworker. This is what I saw when I got here - a bunch of people eating lunch with their coworkers. I grabbed a salad and asked for all the veggies and the chili garlic sauce. It was delicious! I wasn't planning on eating lunch that day, but I didn't want to lose another chance of trying this place. I finished the salad. The sauce had a bit of horseradish or wasabi in it. There was a kick to it. It was a nice surprise. I had to eat quickly because it was about to downpour. I asked for a lid and they offered a bag for me, but I didn't take it. I just needed to run to my car quick. There is a parking garage two blocks north infront of the Hamilton Watch store. It's $2 to park for an hour. Would I come back again? Yes, I would. I would want to try their other options too. That sauce got me hooked.

I haven't had Chinese in like forever, so when the craving hit I was clueless on where to go…read more China King had decent reviews and was on my way home so we decided to give them a chance and they definitely hit the spot. One thing you should know is that they take COVID very seriously, like above and beyond what they need to be doing. They have plexiglass installed from counter to ceiling and you talk to them thru a speaker. Hand sanitizer is at the counter on the customer side as well as their's and I saw him use it after every phone call or register transaction. They have a sliding door that they put your order thru, encased in another plexiglass box to ensure there is no contact whatsoever. I was impressed. To order you can go inside or call ahead. They must do a hell of a business because while I was waiting their phone rang non stop. There is currently no dining in. The dining area was lackluster and very generic so I wouldn't want to eat in anyways. It felt kind of dumpy and you could tell the plexiglass was a poorly executed diy project, but hey, it did the job! Now for the food. The specials which consist of an entree, fried rice, egg roll, and fortune cookie were in the $8.50 range. The platter was enough for me to have lunch the next day. The chicken was moist and the rice seasoned well. The egg roll was very plump, not my favorite, but it was made fresh and the largest I've ever seen. There is a $10/minimum order to use a credit card. They're conveniently located near my work as well so I'll definitely go back.

Our first time here and we were kind of feeling "meh" about the food …read more They were busy and we thought that was a good sign , however ..... My Crispy Orange Chicken was a big letdown... it wasn't crispy but just soft and chewy , there was zero sauce ( none to drizzle on my rice ) and no pieces of orange peel which explains the lack of orange flavor . Also I had 4 small pieces of broccoli. My boyfriend's General Tsos Chicken was exactly the same - no crispy fried outer crust, no sauce and really no flavor and he had 3 small pieces of broccoli. To be honest , both of our chicken tasted exactly the same and they probably were . The House Fried Rice was pretty good with lots of chicken and roast pork pieces , decent flavor but could be a bit more seasoned . Overall our first visit was very underwhelming. I truly think they were very busy and just kind of threw things in the wok and in a container. Our chicken was in clumps so maybe it was quickly cooked ahead of time ? For the price I would expect a better quality of food .
