I have a friend who also checked out the space and she would've scored it a 3/5. I personally like the open working space of Officenter - Woodbury. They have a good mix of different options from booths, to tables, to standing areas. They also have a sister office in Minneapolis, so that's great if you need to access downtown space. It is really surprising that they've been in operation for decades and that the woodbury branch has been opened for about a year -- but you can't find them if you google "co-working" and "woodbury". I only found them through word of mouth. The reason why I deducted a score is that they're not really on top of things. I stopped by to just check it out and a woman said she was available to give me a tour on the spot. She told me that the lowest rate $99 per month (for co-working) was available for only office hours. But the website and my friend's other tour guide (she visited on a different day) indicated that it was 24/hour access. I left my information after the impromptu tour, but never got any follow-up from them via phone or email. I'm decided not to pursue a co-working subscription in woodbury this year, -- but these observations do raise some red flags about their customer service levels and what I could expect if I was to sign up next year. This would probably be my co-working space of choice in woodbury given the location near my house, furniture, and co-working room layout. However, my partner prefers the Reserve's atmosphere which has a more modern aesthetic and the person/people who handle the Reserve's clients is a lot more on top of things and professional.

I wasn't sure because the…read morewebsite looked very corporate and stiff, but once I came into the space it felt very warm and cozy. The colors in the space are light with some nice wood and stone accents. They do a really good job with the architecture to minimize how sound travels. It's not distracting to have someone 10 feet away on a phone call. There is standing spaces (which I absolutely need) and sit down cubicles. The challenge with the standing spaces is that they are all in the middle of the room, so you can feel very exposed. In contrast, they have some sitting spaces that are more semi-private by the wall. They make a good effort to have social events and create more of a community with their members. The Reserve delivers the basics of what you need in a co-working space and more. I would highly recommend you check out the space and see it in-person. I also get co-working space at the Impact Hub in Minneapolis through an organization I work with. I have to say -- my preference is for the Impact Hub which has a more dynamic environment filled with folks working for the social good. Impact Hub also has an amazing rate for students. However, the Impact Hub is also a 30 minute drive (60 if it's rush hour) and has parking fees. I've noticed that co-working out of the Reserve has significantly lowered my stress level (it's only a few miles from my house -- compared to 25 miles to Minneapolis). The membership rates are structured slightly differently than other coworking spaces, but it's reasonably priced with other places around town. Worth the membership fee? In my opinion, YES. It's made me a believer. As much as people glorify home offices or try to make do with coffee shops/libraries -- for me, the cost of co-working places are worth the gains in productivity.

I'm glad I did instead of just working from my hotel room. It's a very nice working environment with a great staff. I was able to get much more done than I would've working from my room. There's a discounted rate for people staying at LaQuinta. I would totally use this place again on future trips.
