I'm sure the groomer has had trouble grooming him because of his age, which is understandable. However, the last time I brought him, I thought everything was normal and it wasn't. I got the call, like usual, that he was ready to go. So, I drive up there, walk in and see him sitting there. Everything seemed normal, the groomer ran my card and I go to get my dog but he won't get up. She then finally says, "he's been like that since his bath". Now I don't blame them or think that they purposely hurt him, but what made me mad was that it was never mentioned to me till I tried to get him to walk with me. Why wouldn't they say something over the phone or even while I'm checking out? Makes me feel like they were trying to hide it. One lady ended up helping me carry my dog to the car, and I ran him to the vet. I think they just wanted him out cause I barely saw any concern for him from them. He's better now and it probably was just his old bones he was having trouble with but I feel like they were trying to deceive me by not saying anything. I won't bring him back there again, and I am so disappointed because I did like this place and have referred people to them. Anyhow, I've learned my lesson and will now ask if a groomer has experience with older dogs because this place does not seem to.

Ruff Riders - Lt. Colonel Fluffbutt

For a Corgi of my distinguished standing, grooming is a serious affair. As a middle-aged Corgi who…read moregoes by Lt. Colonel Fluffbutt (yes, really), I have certain expectations. Ruff Rider Mobile Groomer managed to not only meet those expectations but exceed them in the most delightful ways. After my recent grooming session, I felt as pampered as a general in a five-star suite. It's not every day that I voluntarily offer a standing ovation (or in my case, a wagging tail) to a groomer, but this experience merits it. I'll start with the pièce de résistance: the de-shedding service. As a Corgi, I'm essentially a walking fluff factory, and my humans have resigned themselves to finding tufts of my fur on every surface. But one thorough session with Ruff Rider's de-shedding treatment changed everything. They managed to vanquish my excess undercoat so effectively that a week has passed and there's barely a stray hair to be found; my humans are amazed -- they can even wear black again without accessorizing with "corgi glitter" (their term for my shed fur). I'm quite proud of my new sleek look and the fact that I'm no longer single-pawedly fur-bombing the house. If my polished coat was the headline, the silent trim of my nails was the underrated gem of the service. Previously, my approach on the tile floor sounded like a tap-dance routine -- that infamous "click-clack" announcing my every move. After Ruff Rider's attentive nail trimming, I can prowl the kitchen in blissful silence, much to my humans' surprise when I appear soundlessly at their feet. It's not just the stealth factor; I'm also more comfortable now that my paws don't slip on the floor. My humans are sleeping better too, as my midnight snack raids no longer echo through the house. The convenience of the mobile service cannot be overstated. Normally, I dread the car ride to the grooming salon -- the accusatory glances from other pets in the lobby, the whir of strange dryers, the whole ordeal -- but Ruff Rider spared me that drama entirely by coming straight to my doorstep. The groomer arrived right on schedule in a self-contained grooming van that looked quite posh (at least by my canine standards). One moment I was lounging in the living room, and the next I was being escorted a few steps outside to a personal spa on wheels. No fuss, no stress, and in what felt like no time at all, I was back inside on my favorite rug -- fresh, clean, and feeling like a million biscuits. In sum, Ruff Rider Mobile Groomer delivered a top-notch experience that left me looking and feeling my best. The groomer's gentle expertise and obvious affection for their clients -- canine and human alike -- shone through every step of the process. Who knew that a simple bath and trim could rejuvenate a dignified older pup like me so thoroughly? Even my humans are delighted -- convenience and quality rarely come in one package, but they did here. I'll admit, typing this review without opposable thumbs was a challenge, but service this outstanding merits the effort. Consider this glowing account a five-star salute from Lt. Colonel Fluffbutt himself. We will absolutely be enlisting Ruff Rider Mobile Groomer again, and this corgi confidently recommends their services to any pet (and owner) who demands nothing but the best.

Apparently, my dog fell off the table, she brought him back to me in 25 minutes, he smelled like he never took a bath. He's a large german Shepard and no matte how expensive your blowers are it takes more than 25 minutes to do a good job. She said she'd make it right and come back at the end of her day and wash him for free , but she didn't. No call or text either. When i spoke to the owner of Ruff Riders she was defensive and rude. She told me the shampoo I use isn't good but her employer could not tell me anything about the 20 choices supplied in the van... she had no knowledge about which shampoo is for shedding... overall I had a horrible experience and would not recommend these girls to anyone!! They present "out of it", let dogs fall off the table, and have no ownership in their shoddy work!!
