It is so nice to finally have come to a conclusion to the garage door opener fiasco that has been…read moregoing on at my residence. Long story short - called a different service provider who also have good reviews here on Yelp to repair my garage opener. The person who took my call deserves nothing but the best; however the person that provided me the services was less than ideal. Had trouble getting to my neighborhood, slightly complained, but did his job. Payed the man thinking it was all over. Next day - opener malfunctions again. I was told the unit is likely bad which I understand. I also understood that I did not want to pay these people again for another service fee to come out and install so I decided to go with someone else instead. -Went with Home Depot, problems ensued, order kept getting cancelled. 2 weeks later I was in the same spot. PLEASE avoid Home Depot. I went with them out of supposed convenience, but have not heard great things for them outside the rave reviews online, which I still don't fully understand.- Fast forward to calling 911 Garage Door Services. My patience is already wearing thin and my service date was delayed to no fault of these guys, but they made it right by keeping me in the loop and rescheduling appropriately. The installation has been completed and believe me when I tell you the difference in professionalism is insane compared to the first guys I went with. Jay explained the new unit to me in detail whilst the others just kind had the attitude of "you're good to go!". Highly recommend these guys. Fair price, quick (replacement of opener took ~1h), and friendly services.

I rarely write reviews, but Bob's Quality Door Service absolutely earned a 5-star rating…read more From my first call and text, Bob was incredibly responsive and professional. Before scheduling a service call, he even suggested a few troubleshooting steps I could try myself at no charge in hopes of resolving the issue and saving me money. When that didn't work, he arranged for a technician to come out the very same day. I was given a two-hour service window, and the technician called about 45 minutes beforehand to let me know he could arrive about 30 minutes early. He was friendly, professional, and understood that I was working under a time constraint. The technician diagnosed the problem within minutes, had the necessary part on his truck, and completed the repair in about 20 minutes--finishing before my scheduled service window even began. He was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and took the time to explain everything clearly. What impressed me most was that neither Bob nor the technician tried to upsell me on anything. In fact, they seemed genuinely focused on finding the most cost-effective solution and saving me money whenever possible. Excellent communication, prompt service, honest pricing, and quality work. This was truly a 5-star experience from start to finish. I highly recommend Bob's Quality Door Service.

I originally left a 5-star review after paying $350 on April 9 to have a garage door spring…read morereplaced. Unfortunately, I have to update this review due to a poor follow-up experience. On April 20, the garage door became stuck because the cable came off the track. I reached out multiple times throughout the day and received no response. At that point, the warranty becomes meaningless if the company cannot be reached. I had another garage door company come out and paid for a second repair, to replace the now damaged cables. They confirmed that while the spring replacement itself was done correctly, the cables were not properly adjusted and the door was left imbalanced, which likely contributed to the failure. It was also why the opener was so much noisier after the spring replacement (I was told it was from excess wear on it from trying to lift the door without the spring). The opener is once again very quiet and the door is raising and lowering very smoothly and quietly. I understand that issues can happen, but lack of responsiveness--especially for something that can pose a safety risk and was most likely related to work just done --is unacceptable. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this company nor would I use them again.

We had a great experience with Precision Garage Doors. The service tech came out the afternoon that…read morewe called, assessed the garage door system, and determined that our safety sensors were going out, so he replaced them. The best part is he did under our existing warranty. But in his inspection of the garage door, he told us that the main spring was weakening and might need replaced so we had to make an appointment with another service tech who came out the next day. After assessing the situation, the second service tech told us that all he needed to do was to adjust the spring, which he was going to do under our existing warranty. This is actually kind of unheard of these days, so this is why I am highly rating Precision Garage Doors, and I would recommend them to anybody who reads this review.

I know garage repair reviews aren't the sexiest reviews, but they are helpful…read more You could say I chose Percision at random, but following the phone call, I'd made my decision that unlike other home project I'm not going to contact other companies and get a million quotes before making a decision on which offers the best value. Why? Because time is money, we have atleast 10 other home/projects to complete and this company's process seemed easy and straightforward enough. Our garage consists of multiple single bays each with their own motor and remote. The motors were dated and one remote was not syncing with its respective bay. Andrew came out and assessed the issue. We ended up replacing two motors. I will say, they do seem like a pricey option, a two motor installation costing $1600, but they did provide as far as service is concerned. I was able to book an appointment quickly (next day). I received a courtesy call as promised. The business followed up after the service, and when we had a problem, sent the same technician back same day to ensure it was repaired immediately. Apart from the slight sticker shock from the price, we're happy campers.
