Don't hesitate, put your name down and you'll soon be seated. Menus are available in Spanish, Catalan and English and the staff speaks fluent English. We sat at the bar and ordered the Spanish potato omelette, manchego cheese, ham, chorizo and Iberico ham with bread assortment. Followed this with the traditional potato omelette, grilled octopus, and shrimp skewers. All the food was fresh and delicious. Portions are decent so we had to skip dessert. I was told by a fellow patron that their French toast is very good. Well, next time!

My husband and I split everything to each be able to get a taste. We're not 100% sure the exact names of what we ordered, but everything was good. The cappuccinos were awesome and exactly what we needed for a long day of walking. The pastries were even better! One was cheese and chocolate, and the other cheese and jam. The empanadas were also great- we had one pollo and one carne. The carne was especially good! The sandwich- Jamon, tomate y huevo, was good, but I think my husband liked it more than I did. Overall I definitely recommend this spot for a great bite!

But if you get outside of the touristy area and you get to part of the real city, you can enjoy the charm and good quality. There are cute outdoor tables here, as well as a little balcony inside. The coffee is absolutely delicious, but be warned: They do not have decaf. Super stylish and attractive decor. Porcelain up for "here" orders (vs paper). They serve a delish chai with oat milk (no up-charge!). Enjoy this cute place, before it gets too popular! TL/dr: delish local java spot

We arrived around noon on a Tuesday, and it was packed. We both got some espressos and the Tofu Omelette (€9), adding some baked beans (€1). The food came in 10-15 minutes. The omelette must be the best vegan omelette I've ever had. Really nice consistency, lightly crisped, filled with spinach and mushrooms, topped with what seemed-like cashew "cream cheese". You get a grilled tomato, and a couple small pieces of artisan bread it. And the baked beans were tomatoey and smokey. Very friendly, gracious service, with good English spoken. Couldn't recommend this place more.

They're light, buttery, and filled with just the right amount of cream, truly irresistible. And if you're a chocolate lover, their chocolate version is equally divine (you might just need to get both, trust me). But my absolute favorite treat here is the pan dulce con manzana. The buttery layers, the delicate apple slices caramelized just right, and the subtle sweetness make it the perfect pastry. Pair it with a strong espresso and you've got the ideal way to start your morning in Barcelona. The best part? You don't have to stop at breakfast. I always recommend grabbing one of their fresh bocadillos en pan casero to enjoy later in the day, or picking up one of their panes artesanos to savor at home, simple, rustic, and delicious even on their own. Forn Puiggròs isn't just a bakery, it's a ritual. Go in the morning, enjoy something sweet with your coffee, and leave with bread that will make the rest of your day even better.
