I understand wanting inside voices however it is ways of talking to children and she needs some guidance. She does not acknowledge the children, only some. There's no positivity and that's something that should be guided or taught before working with toddlers. I've left a voicemail, have yet got a call back. Do better please.

The staff was polite, understanding, and accommodating for our special needs son. We hated to leave, but we needed a more structured environment for him due to his needs and their course/class would necessarily change due to goings on at the facility and it was a bit too wide open to contain him, which you'd expect out of a gymnastics facility. Point being, even though our son's special needs meant it wasn't a good fit for him, I still highly recommend this place and is staff.

Today I brought my daughter in for a trial class after calling ahead to ask about level placement…read more I was told over the phone that she would be evaluated during the class to determine whether she should be in Level 1 or Level 2. However, when we arrived, there didn't seem to be any actual evaluation. She was placed into a regular class, and the coach did not specifically assess her skills or provide any feedback. She mainly practiced very basic movements, and there was no attempt to check skills like roundoff, which was specifically mentioned during my call. After class, the coach did not communicate anything about her level. When I asked the front desk, I was simply told that if the coach didn't say anything, then she would be placed in Level 1. This was disappointing because it did not match what was explained beforehand. I was expecting at least a brief evaluation and clear feedback on her placement. Better communication and a more structured evaluation process would really improve the experience for new students.

They make every class fun and appropriately challenging, and I love how they guide the children through each step of every activity. They're also very flexible with scheduling make-up classes, which we really appreciate. Communication is easy too--being able to text is so convenient, and they're always quick to respond and incredibly helpful. The owner and staff even recently went out of their way to help us with a scheduling issue, which we truly appreciated. One thing I'd love to see in the future is a third staff member per class. The teachers do a great job with classroom management, but having a consistent third staff member focused solely on supervising behavior and safety would go a long way. Personally I'd like to see them more focused on making sure kids aren't being mean to each other and they're playing safely on equipment. My last note isn't about the business at all, but about parents: I think classes run smoothest when parents stay attentive to their children's behavior. Personally I think when a teacher has already had to redirect a child more than once, the parent needs to step in. When we first moved to the high desert, I found it difficult to find areas that felt safe and clean. I was relieved to find MyGym. The facility is always clean and well-maintained, and it's clear the staff cares about creating a safe, welcoming environment. It's also fun that the play area layout changes regularly to keep things exciting for the kids, though I do wish the larger equipment was kept out of the parent viewing areas so we can easily keep an eye on our little ones. My daughter absolutely loves MyGym. She looks forward to her class every week and she's so excited when we can make it to any extra open play time on the schedule. Overall, we truly love MyGym High Desert and appreciate the amazing teachers and the warm, positive environment they create for the kids!

And I can say without a doubt if we lived here this is the gym my daughter would attend. We have had an amazing experience at Real Gymnastics! The entire gym creates a positive, productive, and fun environment where athletes can grow both in their skills and confidence. Coach Lorena and Coach Ryann are truly exceptional. Their professionalism, knowledge, and dedication to their students are evident in every class. They have a wonderful ability to challenge athletes while also providing encouragement and support, helping each child reach their full potential. Their instruction is clear, patient, and effective, and they genuinely care about the progress and success of every gymnast. What stands out most is the positive atmosphere they create. The gym is structured and focused, yet still fun and enjoyable for the athletes. The coaches foster, sportsmanship, and confidence while keeping students motivated and excited to learn. We are incredibly grateful for Coach Lorena, Coach Ryann. Their commitment to excellence and passion for teaching make this gym a fantastic place for young athletes to thrive. Highly recommend!

Covid is a big worry for us but we had the whole place to ourselves. Besides the coach that entertained the kids, there was maybe 1-2 other staff members. From what I understand, the whole birthday crew there is vaccinated. They also require proof of vaccination if somebody wants to take their mask off, which I really appreciate. Everyone did their masks the whole time, including all the kids. Sanitizer was everywhere and the place was big and clean. Everything went very smoothly and the two hours we had booked flew by faster than my 7-year old on an obstacle course. The coach, Rich, was very good. He was friendly, energetic, kind, and even showed off some really cool trampoline tricks which made the kids' heads explode. We only had four kids with ages ranging from 3 to 8. Rich made it fun for all of them, regardless of age and capability. Really good communication throughout the planning process with both calls and emails. The only downside is that the place does not have any central AC. There were some fans but overall it was pretty hot, especially since it was like 100 degrees outside. If they could get some AC it would make the place perfect. Even with the heat, I definitely recommend this place for awesome ninja training and a great party experience for active kids.
