The coach looked away the moment I was going and landed on my tailbone. Hard to get along with teammates. Aint fun like it says it would be. Go to the other place way better. Way to much money. Especially for being on two teams. The uniforms are way to small especially if they are using them four years in a row. They dont seem to really care if your hurt. Im glad i left that place.

They threatened to physically undress my child who is only 8 years old at a competition and remove her uniform that was already paid in full. That in itself should classify as a threat of some form of child SA. This is how they treat their members to their face, I can only imagine behind closed doors. I removed my daughter immediately after this. They have very sketchy business practices. And overall the gym itself isn't good, the teams are not good, the uniforms are ugly, and the gym is very unorganized. There is only maybe 3-4 good coaches in this gym. The gym is too small and cramped for the teams they have. If you want to know how a gym is doing look at their worlds teams. Also they don't let you keep an eye on your children. Once you drop off your child you're not even allowed to look at them. Very strange considering these are young girls, and us parents should be able to protect and step in if necessary. Also, this gym is the most expensive from most of the other gyms local and around an hour away, and for no good reason. You pay more for a smaller gym, teams that don't win, and unprofessional staff. Just really do your research and know not all gyms work this way. I wouldn't recommend this gym. Please do research and keep your daughters safe mentally and physically from this gym and their illegal practices.

My daughter has been taking cheer classes with Jacqueline, the Coach and owner for well over a year…read morenow, possibly going on 2...we started with her when the The Cheer Factory as it is known today, was known as Minnie Cheer. She started with just a handful of students and has grown to having 3 competition teams from 1 competition team. This allows the younger students to get familiarized with performing competitively in front of their peers, audience, and judges. We originally found, then Minnie Cheer, through FB. My daughter really wanted to join a cheer team, she was at the time, going to IEGA gymnastics, which she loved and still does, but affordability and location, and the amount of classes made the transition to only doing The Cheer Factory classes a breeze. This is my daughters first season of competitive cheer and she loves it. It is demanding, tiring, but fun and she has not complained once. I believe something like this at such a young age helps boost a child's self-esteem so much. Kudos to Jacqueline and her supporters for expanding into a studio, and in hopes to expand some more. :-)

This is not somewhere I'd recommend if you want your child to be emotionally or mentally safe. I…read morebrought my daughter here after the COVID pandemic shut down her previous gym. In the beginning I felt like the owner's values and mine weren't really aligned but my 11 year old daughter wanted to join and so we did. From July to October there was no team bonding as mentioned in the website. The relationships were not intentionally built as it was in my daughters previous gym. The expectation was simply practice and pay. As someone who has been an educator for 21 years and is currently in a career that team building is all I do, I offered the owner my help to get the girls to build their bonds through team building activities. I was shut down. As time went on, my daughter became the target of many of the girls and bullied by the other girls. She was the outcast. I addressed my concerns twice with the owner and coach and each time I was assured that "she would put a stop to it". That never happened. I advised my daughter that we could leave the gym at any time but she repeatedly wanted to keep trying and she stated she didn't want to let her team down. My child was shunned and confronted weekly by other girls on her "team" until the final straw when my daughter expressed to me through tears that her mental and emotional health was suffering. At that point my husband and I made the decision AFTER SPENDING well over $1,000 without ever competing, to pull my daughter. Before we left, my daughters rarely used cheer shoes were Falling a part and we were waiting on a replacement. These shoes cost over $100. Since leaving, the owner has not let me know of our replacements were in. We find raised and paid for competition fees that my daughter never attended and were never offered any of that money back. I say that to point out that the only thing she values is the dollar. She doesn't keep children safe as stated in her website and she doesn't do any team bonding. Cheer is an amazing opportunity for young girls to grow, learn new skills, and empower each other. If you're looking for any of that for your daughter I HIGHLY recommend another gym as you will not get that from this BUSINESS.

I wouldn't give this business even one star but yelp gives no other options. Beware of this…read morebusiness and please completely research this company before taking you child there. My daughter was enrolled last year... my son in December fell deathly ill and was admitted into iCU for 6 weeks straight on a ventilator. At that time I had no choice to remove my daughter from cheer as I wanted my girls to spend the time with us in Los Angeles hospital , not knowing if their brother would survive at that point. We contacted Patrick(owner) and let him know my daughter would not be able to attend. Upon release of my sons hospitalization I sent a message to the owner stating in order to care properly for my severely ill handicap son, my daughter would not be returning. Instead of contacting me to say anything the owner has me served with court papers to get me to pay for her dropping out early. He could have responded to my messages with some sort of reasoning but instead went straight to filing court documents. This shows the lack of humanity and compassion for any "team member." I will expose this company and their lack of compassion for the children attending. The owner is known to verbally call the girls "fat" and doesn't stop there with the verbally abusive ways in which he speaks to his team mates. This is far from professional. I have reasons to believe he the owner and the other teachers are not even certified. My attorney will be contacting the CA state board to ensure they're operating by the correct laws. I would urge anyone considering to enroll your child into this company to think twice and do for research. The owner is a liar and only out for the money and not to train your child correctly.
