Trash cans were still full of disgusting trash. The young man at desk was very happy to give us towels, and new soap. But not a hair dryer. No one offered us a discount or anything else. At $150. Plus taxes you would expect a lot better. And the lady serving breakfast literally frowned at me every time I walked past her. She was sitting with people, not staying at hotel. She acted like it was a problem to ask her any type of question. I have stayed here before and my only problem was my room was super hot and never cooled down. My brother lives in Ranger so we have to stay in Eastland a lot. But if this is how we are treated, I will stay elsewhere. We stayed there the night of September 27th. I asked for a manager, there was not one there that night, or the next day. I left several messages for someone to call me. But no one could take the time to be bothered. I also had to take the filthy pants downstairs, with spit cans, and bags of trash to front desk myself, because nobody could come and get them. I also had to go get my own towels and soap. I'm 73 and expect better from LaQuinta!!!

Not upscale; but decent enough for the locale. The staff warrant giving it a four star!

From Amarillo to Galveston, looking for something out of the ordinary, we some how ended up at the Texas Ranger and glad we did. One thing that is not mentioned on their web site is that the room are adjoining, which is perfect if you have kids. Next time I'm going have to you the bbq area. It looked fun. Enjoy you stay!
