I paid in full, in cash, and even authorized and paid for additional services while they were onsite, which were completed at that time. Unfortunately, the company's conduct after taking payment has been unacceptable. Pete has since left the company, and Matt has become completely unreachable. Phone calls are not answered. Voicemails are ignored. Text messages go unanswered. This would be frustrating under any circumstances, but it is especially egregious given that I prepaid for both installation and removal of the lights, per the contract. At this point, the lack of communication and failure to honor agreed-upon services leaves only one reasonable conclusion: Christmas Light Pros--specifically Matt--has no intention of fulfilling its contractual obligations once payment has been received. What makes this situation even more disappointing is that I recommended this company to a neighbor based on my initial experience. I am now embarrassed to have done so, as my neighbor is experiencing the exact same issue: no communication and no follow-through after payment. This is not a scheduling issue. This is not a misunderstanding. This is a basic failure of accountability and professionalism. If you are considering Christmas Light Pros, be aware: they may perform the installation, but once they have your money, responsiveness and contract compliance appear to end. I've been contacting Matt for over one month to try to get my lights removed for the season and he has given a date but never showed up in mid-January. I've been calling and texting several times and he has never returned my messages. I was bait and switched by paying for the lights and this service and there's been no follow through on removing the Christmas lights. It's mid-February as I'm writing this message. I've tried contacting the parent company Storm Pros however no one is returning my calls either. I think this company has gone out of business completely.

One of our neighbors recommended Hawk Security. I called a few others, but felt more comfortable with Hawk. So I scheduled an in home estimate. The day of our scheduled appointment Peter showed up. He was on time, and very knowledgeable about securing our 7500 square foot home. He made great recommendations, without a bunch of upselling. The day of our installation went great! Mark the installer was very friendly, and hard working. He never complain about all the work, which took him 10 hours to perform. Once he was done, he patiently showed me how to work the system, which wasn't easy because I'm no Techie. Later that day Peter called to make sure I was completely satisfied. Very rare, as it seems most places are done with you once they get paid. I even had to call Peter again a few weeks after installation with a question, and he got right back to me with an answer. Hawk Security did not only do a great job, but their attitude and customer service was excellent! I highly recommend them.

We decided that we didn't need it so we never signed up for their member ship. however all their gear and systems are still hooked up to the house, they didnt bother to come get it. The monitor in the wall would ring every other day or so and would ask for a code to stop it. I never even got any code from them and when I didnt sign up I imagined they would just turn everything off. That brings be to today, all of a sudden in the middle of the day the monitor powers the whole house with a fire alarm and wouldn't stop unless I put in the code. My six month old baby is screaming because it woke him up from a nap. I immediately call hawk security so they can help me turn it off, as it is their system that is doing it. the lady transfers me to support and no one ever answered after waiting for over 5 min. Meanwhile there is an alarm blasting through the whole house. I hang up and call again and the lady just starts telling me to unplug the monitor from the wall, I keep telling her there is no plug and she just keeps saying that there is. I explain to her that the wire is run through the wall. then she tells me in that case there should be a box plugged into the house somewhere, I explain to her there is not a box and that we barley have anything plugged in since we havent lived here very long and we havent been able to buy much furniture. She keeps speaking to me like im an idiot that there is a box plugged in somewhere and I just have to find it to get the system to stop. After looking through the whole house and not finding said box I ask her if they can send a tech out here to unplug the whole system, she said they only do that to people who pay. I ask her if I pay someone to come out to unplug it and she says they dont do that. She tells me she has other people on the line and has to go then just hangs up on me. I work in real estate and that is just not how you treat people especially if you're a company that provides a service. I ended up just cutting the system from the wall and creating a big hole in the drywall that now has to be repaired. I am still shocked at the way I was spoken to. If I could give zero stars I would. I have no words.

After a series of terrible things happening in the last few weeks, I awoke on Tuesday, after 3…read morehours of sleep, to see the laptop stuck in some sort of updating loop. Feeling certain that nothing else could possibly go wrong, I went with denial and went to work. Imagine my surprise when I was heading home and my husband informed me he was unable to perform a factory reset. ;) So I turn to Yelp, and this was the first listing I called. The staff was very professional on the phone, and very helpful with answering my questions. I was told a diagnosis would be $50 and then that cost would go towards the cost of repair. In discussing options, he told me that a fresh install would be $90 plus tax, while backing up files would be $135. He suggested we come in before close so they could run the diagnostic overnight and keep the timeframe within a couple of days. I did call a couple of other places, just to check my options. This place seemed the most professional and had reasonable prices, while others were at least $65 more. Other places also stated they would have it 2-3 days minimum, but this company seems to understand people don't like being away from there stuff too long, lol. My husband and I brought it in about 5pm, an hour before they close. Based on our description, he seemed to understand what it was and said there had been many issues with an update in the last couple of days. They were of course going to verify with the diagnostic. It took such a long time to boot up that we started talking about the potential of a corrupted hard drive. To replace at it's normal size would not really add on to the time and would be $50. We even discussed upgrading it, which would be another $40, but add a couple of days for ordering parts. He assured us that we would get a call in the morning after they looked over the diagnostic, and they would let us know the exact problem and price before starting additional work. I liked this as I want to control my overall cost, instead of having it happen to me, whether I want it or not. We had already discussed what we wanted to do based on the age of the laptop and what could and couldn't be replaced on it. So we had an idea of how much everything would cost from the beginning. Since they are open from 9am to 6pm, we were hoping that one full day would be enough, but figured it might be a day and a half. I received an email with the status notes before I even left the parking lot. Nice touch! They called within an hour of opening the next day, but I was completely slammed at work and didn't get the message until closer to noon. The message was very detailed and assured me that our hard drive was fine. The call back was simple and easy and they got to work. Due to the time of the day, they said they would call if it was ready the same day, but it would most likely be the next morning. My husband picked it up around 10:30am the next morning without any surprise fees or issues. We even had our favorites menu still intact, and I can barely get my work tech support to do that right, haha! Overall, we are very satisfied with $135 plus tax to save our files and not have to buy a new laptop. The turn time for work is reasonable and the employees are knowledgeable. Hopefully, we don't need to see them again any time soon, but I would definitely use them again if the need arose!

I live close to their shop and they agreed to take it. I took off work early to meet them, and they were a no-show. My calls & texts went unanswered for ONE WEEK. On Day 7, the owner, Todd, texted that he had a family issue, lost an employee, and that my job was too small. I understand family issues, labor issues, and certain jobs being too small. I don't understand taking a week to respond after standing a customer up on a job that they had agreed to. It's clear to me that Todd doesn't care about customer service or treating people with respect. WYRED A/V (www.wyredav.com) came out and did a fantastic job.
