Again, they offer a lot of the brands you would think of in an outdoor store, but keeping up with the trends, you'll also see Blundstones, Oofos, and Danner to name a few. They then send it out to a network of repair people and my jacket came back looking good as new. The whole process was super easy and is one of the value adds you get from shopping local.

She took the time to check the wind speeds for the next day, so we wouldn't be scheduling a trip during inclement weather. Once we arrived, the ladies working were extremely friendly and they gave us ample time to check out their merchandise before our adventure started. The kayaks and paddles were in good condition. There are several different routes you can take, a 2 and a 4 mile loop were suggested to us. All the routes will take you past the downtown swing bridge. I would suggest going with the tide either going out or coming back (unless you enjoy paddling the entire time). They also sell kayaks and equipment. They told me that before I purchased a kayak or Hobie fishing kayak, that I could test them in the river. They want you to be happy with your purchase. I will definitely be supporting this business in the future.

When I arrived, they couldn't have been more helpful, they supplied everything that I would need, including the wheels (to move it in and out of the water), tie-downs, paddle, life jacket, etc., all for $65.00 and I didn't have to have it back until the next day. The Hobie pedal drive was everything that I hoped it would be, good speed and excellent maneuverability. When I returned the Hobie, they unloaded it for me and rinsed everything off. They also told me that if I was interested in purchasing one in the next month, they would use the rental fee towards the purchase, that's a good business model for taking care of your customers. I highly recommend Time Out Sports and their staff.

I did find a tri weather north face parka with the detachable inner jacket which is more of an everyday winter jacket for $160. Not bad so i took it. Wife was looking for a goretex membrane rain jacket; colors were limited but she found one for $45 thats a good buy. I was only able to scope the heavy winter jacket section for men; seems like this store really has some good bargains to hunt down. The ladies at the cashier are very knowledgeable of the products and very concerned about making sure you get the best fit and the appropriate product for your winter needs.

I wanted a warm, not-so-bulky, lightweight jacket to wear as I travel (mostly fly) quite a bit and during the winter months, it becomes annoying to keep taking your coat/jacket off and putting it back on. We were immediately greeted as we walked in and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Anything we didn't see on the floor in the needed size, they were always so willing to check the stock in the back for the items. We were very pleased with the service and the price.

For years, they've offered a 15% local discount to residents of Seabrook, Kiawah, and lower Johns Island. Their sister stores in Freshfields offer the same. For years, I've shown my license and been granted a 15% discount, as I live about 1 mile from the store on Johns Island. I live closer than any Kiawah residents (Cassique is 2 miles), while the Marsh Oak condos at Bohicket Marina (Seabrook) are indeed closer than my house. This year I was told by management that they "never" offered discounts to anyone other than Seabrook Club or Kiawah Club members with a Club card. My years of receipts prove otherwise. It's hard for me to continue to support a local business when they are claiming they never had a policy that existed. It's fine if they choose to change their policy, but please do not lie about it.
