I have been vaping for going on five years now. I have obtained so much knowledge on the subject, ventured out to all kinds of Vape/Smoke shops, tried many different kinds of Mods and E-Liquids, etc. The first thing I have to say about this business, is that it is by far, one of the most reliable and trustworthy Vape Shops in all of Indy. All of the employees are very knowledgeable about vaping, they thoroughly explain the safety protocols if you're new to the vaping community, they are very educated on the do's and don'ts, and they'll never steer you wrong. If you ever have any questions, they're 100% honest with you, and will always go the extra mile to give you the best! The facility is squeaky clean, very organized, and the customer service is incredible! Every E-Liquid is rotated on time, so you'll never find one that's expired. The Batteries they offer are top quality too. 100% brand new out of the box, and not re-wrapped like some other shops try to do and resell. They also have top-quality Liquids and Equipment. I get very nervous branching away from the Smok and Voopoo brands because I have a lot of experience with them. These guys are great! I'm new to vaping and bought my vape unit somewhere else a few days before stopping in here. They still treated me like a valued customer and spent a significant amount of time discussing the features of my vape unit and all the oils they have. Before heading from Broad Ripple, past dozens of other vape stores, to Greenwood, I did a lot of research on vape stores in Indianapolis. I read a lot of reviews on other local stores and was inundated with bashing reviews, reviews that seemed like the competition was writing their own reviews or the competition was trying to lower their review score with thin, irrelevant customer service issues. After my research had concluded, I made the drive to Greenwood. I'd make it 20 more times. The employee there, Tyler, was fantastic. You see, I didn't know anything about vaporizers, vape liquid or anything. By the time I left, I knew exactly what I needed to do and what I need for my mission of quitting tobacco. I left with a full $80 starter kit and it's really great. After making my purchase, Tyler, the employee, gave me like a 15-minute lesson on how my vaporizer worked, the maintenance it was going to require, the dos-and-donts, and upkeep. It was nothing short of a consultation. Seriously some of the best, if not thee best, customer service I've ever encountered. They have decent juice compared to every other vape store in Indie but the dude that works there is a complete douche every time I go in. He is so rude and acts like he is the king of vaping or something. They also don't give you any deals or discounts. I also feel like they over charge compared to other vape stores. Stopped by here based off of a friend's recommendation. Small shop, dark and dingy. Staff was sub-par, I asked about a common RTA 'Wismec REUX' counter guy stated he has never heard of it. No big deal, I inquired about which juice they had was in sour candy genre. He stated he wasn't sure if they had any. Offered me a flavor menu tablet and didn't ask if I wanted to try samples. Selection is minimal bought some juice and left. I try my best to support local businesses but with lackluster customer service, this is why I tend to shop online. read more

Vaping is my husband's way of not smoking (and new hobby.) We have been to Vape stores near and far (oh so many.) In my opinion, 317 Vapes is not only the most sincere in what they do but the most responsible. They truly KNOW what they are doing. Yes, we showed up one night after hours. They welcomed us to buy because they had not shut down the computerized register. However, the hours do kinda suck ;) maybe they will reconsider longer hours due to spring and summer. We ended up with bootleg coils from another store because they were closed. My husband and son both vape. I do not. If you are a beginner and you really want to get the correct information, 317 is where you want to be. Now, That being said... prepare yourself to walk into a sort of overwhelming busy place. The place is full of vape smoke and the owners are no nonsense huge guys. They resemble bouncers but are extremely intelligent on their business and patient with beginners. I really didn't appreciate the way the man working talked while I was in there making a purchase. He swore repeatedly (constant F-bombs) while talking with another customer while another guy was helping me. I don't think I'll go back, even though I like their liquid. Going in there usually makes me feel like I've interrupted several men in a locker room, but this time was worse. I can go somewhere else from now on. Just a suggestion - greet each customer who comes in, even if you are helping another person and try to behave in at least a somewhat professional way. read more

I actually would've put a three star if it weren't for a good experience with, I think Joel was his name (he had a red beard and we had good talk over guitars and music). He let me use a drill so I could make some crazy builds and have some juices that I haven't seen anywhere else, however some of those juices they offer don't cater to my flavor palette that I've gotten from my home shop. A very large selection of hardware, but confusing layout of it all, (I know it's knit-picky, but for a first time customer in the shop, it was like one of those I SPY books trying to look for the atomizer I was looking for.) overall, some good guys, but could use some improvement. read more

Well, they didn't have any customers when I went in and that was a good thing because it was my first time at a vape shop and I was making my first vape purchase. The shop person didn't really care if I was there or not and he had no opinion on anything to purchase for a newbee. I felt that I was left out in the cold and was confused on what to purchase. I did purchase a Kangertech evdo kit and a bottle of juice. I had questions on how to start vaping and he again had no advice. That was my first and last time at his shop as I will never return. Went to 317 for the first time today and was not impressed. I've been to many shops around indy and this was close to the worst. The employee of the store was talking to a lady who clearly was new to vaping and grossly upsold her to a vape 3 steps above the one she was using. From an evod stick to a 50w istick. He was very rude when i tried to tell her that what she described was a 30w but he insisited that going from a beginner vape to a 50w was what she needed. That alone set a bad tone of upselling and not really listening to what your customer wanted. Juice selection wasnt bad and the place was clean, I'll give them that. I wanted to 317 Vapors about a year ago. The initial experience was excellent I thought the staff was very well now it's about Vapor items. However they have a no return policy on anything with a very small sign to the left of the store when you first walk in beware of this. As I bought the wrong item is a gift for a retired military veteran I went back into 317 Vapors and was very rudely talked to by the staff. And I had not used the product. I left a review on hear about it unfortunately Yelp decided to take it down. I will tell you that after having conversations with the owner that he agreed to allow me to return the item but at that point I had found that the item was working properly. The owner did say that he was going to send my retired military veteran friend a gift in the mail which never came. I have since gone to several other vapor shops in recommend going there rather than this one if by chance you do need to return an item that is a gift that is never been used. These guys used to be so cool. Especially Jimmy the owner. Now I won't even go in there. Stereotypical of what happens when someone has a little success and it goes to their head. They do not even say "hello" when you walk in, and they are so self-righteous they were going to " fix" what I had done, or "show me how to do it". Whoops, they sold me the wrong thing.
