I saw an ad for SURGE and called them up for a tour. The community manager showed me around, and I signed up right away. For the price, the amenities you get at SURGE are the best deal in Tacoma. My business, Cascade Digital Marketing, has grown dramatically since I joined in February 2016, a large part of that due to the professional atmosphere, the location, and the support at SURGE. We decided to move to the front of building and the view is fantastic on this side as well. I love the spaciousness of the Lofts and the fact that there is no wrong way to set up your space. Like other reviews have stated families and full time workers do also live here so no crazy keggers but hey we can just party at the bar downstairs and down the street! I always believe in listing a con and I can only really think of 2. Which is parking for guest. If you don't want to pay for parking your only real option is infront of the Holiday in which can be a bit much for anyone with small kids or when the weather is a bit extreme. The second is security. It would be cool if they installed a limited access elevator. Oh well still love it here. Suzanne does tend to get really busy so I would recommend using their web pg to contact her to get on the waiting list. People rarely move out and when they do spots fill up quickly. She's only human and gets back to everyone when she can.

The local staff…read moreis friendly, but they have no control over the scam artist billing and invoicing process from their HQ back in the UK. The company rips you off in higher than average rental rates, they have horrible Tech Support (they cut off our business phone service for over 2 days without notice and took 2 more days to get it back up!). What's even worse is that they have held onto hundreds of dollars in retainer fees they owe us, I'm still trying to get them to refund me after months of fighting with them. To make matters worse, their regional manager based in Olympia is absolutely useless and has a terribly disrespectful attitude towards their clients.
