We stayed at the hotel next door and looked for a place to go eat. The street there is blocked to vehicle traffic & has tables under umbrellas for the bars & eateries along that block. We looked at the menu & decided to give it a try. My wife ordered the prix fixe menu & I ordered the hamburger gourmet. The prix fixe menu consisted of 5 appetizer courses, a main course & choice of dessert or drink - all for $18.95 Euros! From the initial salad item through the final appetizer, she loved them. I was able to have a taste & I fully agree. The Items were very tasty & well prepared with a very nice presentation. Our server, Juan, was very attentive & personable which enhanced our experience! This place presents as a tapas bar but served a very worthy dinner. As it was a bar, I ordered the hamburger gourmet. Bars I have found seem to take a special pride in their burgers & these guys are no exception. My burger was deciduous! Well prepared with Caramelized onions, cheese, lettuce & tomato with a nice sauce. The potatoes that accompanied each entree were very tasty with a rich, buttery seasoning. If you are in Alicante & downtown, you should check this place out. I am sure it would be nice come by earlier in the day for tapas & a nice beverage outside at the tables.
