The waitress was very friendly and told us that the restaurant has been operating for over eight years that's always a good sign. The food was excellent. We tried the vinaigrette salad, manty, and potato dumplings everything was very tasty, fresh, and clearly made with care. We also tried their homemade fruit compote, which was especially enjoyable. The service was fast, the atmosphere was pleasant, and we left with very positive impressions. We highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys European cuisine

Fortunately when we arrived, only two of them were occupied (I did notice that quite a few people came in to pick up takeout orders while we were there, tho). Anyway after perusing the menu we decided on the following: - A cup of Solyanka (soup) - Beef, turkey, sausage, cabbage, olives, carrots, pickles - A cup of Borscht (soup) - red beets, grass fed beef, onions, carrots, potatoes, served with the spoon of sour cream and fresh herbs - Hinkali - 5 large Georgian style meat dumplings. Served with our special spicy tomato sauce - Cabbage Meat Roll (Golubtsi) - a cabbage roll dish consisting of cooked cabbage leaves wrapped around meat fillings seasoned with garlic, onion, and spices. Served with sour cream. - Honey Cake - Layered cake with light touch of honey and pastry cream between layers. OK. This was a TON of food and each dish (except the cake) came with sour cream. Both cups of soup were incredibly filling (glad we didn't order bowls, but a bowl would be a nice lunch by itself maybe with some bread). Everything was delicious and portions were large. We ended up bringing most of the dumplings home since we were so full (they reheated pretty well the next day). The Solyanka was a real surprise. I'd never had a soup with olives and pickles in it before. It was really yummy! Our server was nice and very polite, and the restaurant is very cute and clean. I would definitely eat here again.

It's had its seasons of ebb and flow as far as traffic, but it's remained a very consistent crowd of regulars. As they say, the more things change, the more they stay the same. There's something refreshing about that, when the world changes so much, so rapidly. As also happens, I don't "hang out" as much as I did in my younger years. But, I still visit and say hello on occasion. Whenever the first winter snap or snow hits for the season, I make a point to go in for the Chicken Paprika. It is a healthy serving and just warms the belly. If there's a Cowboys game on that's not televised locally, it's on my list for places to go to watch the game. And, of course, it's the only hockey bar in town and has been FOREVER. Otherwise, they have the same karaoke nights they've had for those with voices made for a microphone (not it). They still do bands on occasion, as well. It's always a good time. With the two patios (one heated in front and one in back), the main bar and the pool room, you're bound to find a seat next to a friendly face. It's a solid, enthusiastic crowd!

The food, unfortunately, was the most disappointing part of the experience. I didn't order any traditional Czech food, but I figured chicken tenders would be a safe choice since you really can't go wrong with chicken tenders, right? Turns out, you can. They were pretty underwhelming, and honestly, I think most fast-food chains do them better. On a more positive note, the fries were actually pretty good and ended up being the highlight of the meal for me. If I were to come back, I'd probably try something else off the menu, especially one of their Czech dishes, since that's what they're known for. Overall, it wasn't terrible, but it also didn't leave me excited to return.

I love this place! I…read morewas in Denver for a conference, and every night someone said: Let's go to Rhein Haus. It took us all week to get here because of other commitments. That was a huge error because all of the other commitments couldn't add up to the experience here. Rhein Haus is an authentic German restaurant. It has an excellent beer section, great food, and looks like it has fun games. The staff was super friendly, and we had a great time. We started with some beers, a sausage sampler, and a giant pretzel. Get this, and you will be treated to some excellent food. But the entree was even better. I opted for the Jagerschnitzel with beef goolash, braised cabbage, and warm potato salad. I have no idea how goolash is made, but it was incredible. The flavor was so rich, and I pictured how great it would have been on a cold Denver night. Unfortunately for me, it was like 80 degrees outside. The schnitzel was equally wonderful, but that warm potato salad was even better. My goodness, it was delicious. Is it wrong that I am thinking of flying back in just to come visit here? That is how great it was to me.

We have been regular and huge supporters of this establishment for years, especially being fellow LGBTQ members of the community supporting the LGBTQ owners of this establishment. We simply came to Rhein Haus tonite to continue our holiday celebration, and we had a large group. We were a large group so one set went to the bar, the other group were sent to a table adjacent to the bar. The bar group was served immediately, but the table group was not not being served. I addressed this issue with a manager, and he proceeded to kick me out of the bar. I am simply looking to take care of our friends fairly, and this manager felt I was being unfair. I welcome conversation as this was a terrible experience for our group. I felt completely disrespected by the person that kicked me out, and felt he was completely out of line. Tony
