Oddly enough the reason I'm leaving a review is that I'm from Kentucky and I had an amazing smoked old fashioned here. For it to be a non bourbon state the pricing is reasonable for some of the top pours they have here. I'll visit again, the food was also pretty good for bar food. I've been for lunch twice and dinner once, each time ordering a bacon cheeseburger. Every time, I've ordered it medium rare, and every time it's come out incorrect. The first time it was rare. Like, a little browned on the outside but cold on the inside. The second time it was well-done. Charred on the outside. Dry as hell. I couldn't eat it. The third time, it was medium well. Not as dry as the previous time. Luckily, still edible, but I needed a lot of BBQ sauce to make it go down. During this visit, I ordered regular fries but they came out with Cajun seasoning, which I do not care for. Service is stretched way too thin, especially for a one-hour work lunch break. The bartenders at lunch wear bikinis... so it's a big spot for middle-aged men who come to oogle. It seems there's only one server for the whole floor, which can make ordering food and drinks take quite a while. I really want to like this place. They've got a great selection of craft beers on tap and affordable prices for food, but the lack of service and not knowing how to get a burger or overall order correct is frustrating as a customer. I've lived/frequented the Dearborn Hts/Allen Park area for over 7 years, and this is your true hole in the wall establishment. We go about once or twice a month, and this is definitely the place to be when some sort of Detroit sports game is on. You have to get there super early to get a table. The atmosphere is awesome, everyone really gets into the games. I love the food. It's certainly not gourmet, but a Texas Toast Barbecue Cheeseburger for $1.99? It's hard to pass that up. Their beer specials are always amazing, and not just for the standards, it's not uncommon to get a 36 oz (name a specialty beer) for $3.25. It's not uncommon for 3 people to walk out paying $20 (tax and a good tip included). How can I not love this place? read more

First and last time going there last night. Before entering, sign posting "no club colors allowed" was the first sign of the type of bar it is. A lot of bikers young and old. We went to watch the fights on TV but ended up watching them live 10 feet away. 2 girls fighting started a chain reaction to a bunch of guys fighting. Not my scene. read more

Pretty crowded when I came here for lunch but cleared out pretty quick a little after one. Service was great, always had a beer never had to wait on an empty glass. A surprisingly good beer selection, a lot of really good craft beers you would not expect it was a nice surprise, I was able to get a barrel aged stout at a sports bar which was a nice change of pace. I got the nachos and they were decent, I would compare them to the nachos you would get at a fair or a baseball game, nothing amazing but hey its nachos and gets the job done. The hop slam was a flowin. Very good craft beer selection in a local divey-type place. The food was REALLY good. Jalapeño poppers, jumbo wings, and mushrooms burger were all on point. Would definitely go back for some food. There's tvs around and I think they have bands play and trivia some days but I'm not sure on the details. read more

Just wanted to write an update - On my wedding day, two weeks ago, I had the limo driver (F350 Harley Davidson with flames on the side - bitchin!) pull into Scoreboard in between photo shoots. We walked in the door, the staff and patrons recognized us, and a kind gentleman bought the entire wedding party a shot. When Toby Keith sang the hokey song "I Love This Bar," I don't know what kind of establishment he meant, but Scoreboard is one of my favorite places on Earth. Good beers on tap, although almost everyone around me is drinking Buttwiper (Budweiser). Very nice friendly staff. Although about halfway through my beer I discovered the remnants of the pink glittery lipstick that the previous renter of this glass was wearing. Ewww gross! This was the first time that my wife and I went here. Some of her friends are regulars and suggested that she stop in here for a birthday party for her. The place might be a bit of a hole in the wall neighborhood bar with what appears to be older White working class regulars, but it is a great place to party on a Friday night. The staff had no problem accommodating a last minute party of 13 people. In fact, when one of the servers found out that she and my wife shared a birthday, she bought her two shots to celebrate. The wife enjoyed the various shots that her friends, and some of the regulars who didn't even know her, bought to celebrate her birthday. so, everyone from the staff to the patrons were friendly and wanted to make sure that her birthday was great. The DJ had really eclectic tastes in music. He played everything from Country music to Hip Hop. It was fun. As for the food, members of the party said that the burgers were some of the best that they have ever had in a bar. And the wife and I had the Friday fried cod special. The fried fish had a real nice batter on it. It was crispy without being over or under done. Unlike some places, the batter stuck to the fish nicely as well. It is well worth coming here on a Friday just for the fish alone. As a non-alcoholic beverage drinker, I can say that this is one of the more fun bars that any of my friends made me stop off at. We stood in the parking lot looking at the sad little building wondering if we should venture inside and what kind of crowd patronized the place. I had maybe the best burger of my life at this place 15 years earlier, but had it changed? We fianally decided what the heck and went in. The inside is much more attractive and comfortable. Everything was first rate from the waitress to the beer and food. I guess the waitresses wear bikinis at times, the night I visited they were not. I don't know how they do it, but they still have the best burger I have had in the Detroit area. And it was only $1.50! Other condiments ring up the price, but this is a burger to die for. read more

I've been coming to this place since the late 80's and today I received the worst service I've ever received at this establishment. When I first walked in the waitress asked me if I wanted lunch and I said I'll let you know after a beer or two. That was pretty much the last conversation I had with my waitress besides her dropping my beer off at my table as she went to wait on and talk to Ford Motor employee's who frequent the bar. She never once asked my again if I wanted lunch or anything else for that matter. I got the feeling that if you don't work for Ford Motor company (who they cater to) your a nobody. I don't think it's true for the owner but it sure was obvious from the wait staff and bartender. I was going to order food but I sat right by the kitchen and watched as food died in the window and the cook rang the bell trying to get her to come get the food. Unfortunately for the people who did order food she was outside talking on her phone and couldn't be bothered. Normally the owners husband is there but he wasn't today, maybe that's why I received such crappy service? Either way I'd like to say to my waitress I know you think you're all that but you really aren't. All your customers want you to do is your job, nothing else. read more

Went to 3 nicks about a month ago and was super packed with no seating at all...I stood around for a little while and finally got a seat. The drink specials were decent and the food menu was very good they even have a value menu which I never seen before at a bar...BLT for $1.50...and grill cheese sandwich for $1 they hit the spot ...the waitresses are all very nice and were on point with asking me if I wanted anything else . This place is alright. If youre an attactive woman dont go during lunch. The half naked bartenders spend their time milking tips from factory workers, and not doing their jobs. Forewarning. Food is alright, not anything to write home about. I had a bacon burger and fries. It was cheap and pretty tasty. I tried an infused beer and blah but the normal beer is cheap and service is dece. Best bar around Dearborn, hands down. This is the usual spot my friends and I go to for cold beers, amazing burgers, and friendly wait staff. Prices cannot be beat! My only gripe is that the burgers are usually cooked to well, even if you specify medium. They are still great though. read more

What a horrible place. We had a birthday party and going away party there the other night. We were also there to represent the entertainment. We had over half the bar with our friends and family. The service was pretty much non-existent. Never really saw a waitress on the floor or a bartender behind the bar. They kept disappearing , (smoking is more important than making money), and when they were behind the bar they acted like they were so busy they couldn't even wait on you. For example, standing at the bar for service. Bartender walks by me, hands a draft to a customer, says, "I don't know what kind of beer this is, it's not the one that the tap says, ", i'm thinking just open up the cooler door and see what the tag says on the keg but who am I?, oh!! I'm just a bartend also, but you know, this job must be like rocket science, anyways, the bartender proceeds to just lean on the bar a "chit chat" with this person, oblivious to me standing 2 feet away from her waiting for service. Multitasking is a much needed element in bartending. You can still talk to someone and serve drinks without being rude. All night was like this. And the food was absolutely horrible. I ordered a nacho supreme it might have had a handful of hamburger on it and the cheese was the nasty stuff out of the can, oh and they brought me a salsa cup out, don't know if it was used or they really just put a quarter of an inch of sauce in the bottom , but the cup had sauce all over it like someone had used it and put the lid back on and they took it off the plate and put it back in the fridge to be served again. I ordered 6 Washington apples, the worst shots ever. Tasted like cheap well whiskey, and I paid premium price for them. So I did the unthinkable, I tipped the worst tip I ever have. She got 10% ..... I always tip well. An example, just the other night we went out and our bill was $27.00, I tipped $20.00. If I had a choice I wouldn't even give this place one star. But that's the lowest you can give. Horrible. Horrible place. Food is nasty and service is worse. read more
