Very nice Salon. I have gone to Salon a few times and had good luck. This time, I think what I…read morewanted was complicated. I should have gone to a hair colorist. I was charged a lot when I went back for correction. $120.00. Ended up with yellow orange hair and a weird cut that was much shorter than I wanted. Summary, my stylist seemed to lack confidence in her ability to color my hair and the correction was very bad. She gave me an awful cut that us a lot shorter than I wanted. They are good for basic services. This is a very nice salon with ok pricing. Please do not charge for a Balliage if you are only going to do highlights

Without question, the ladies that work here give the finest haircuts I have ever had. The shop…read moreappears to be a hair salon, but they have as many men customers as women, and its not hard to understand why. My hair grows in a certain way that makes it hard for most barbers to cut my hair in the way that I like. Metropole does not have that problem, (especially Kelly.) Because they do both hair styling as well as hair cuts, they understand the different ways hair can be cut. I get *exactly* the kind of crisp look I like, with the hair styled that accomodates the way my hair grows. I live in North Carolina, but always schedule an appointment when I come back for a visit!

Great haircuts and nice people as well…read more They do walk-ins and you can also call and schedule an appointment. I use Kelly and when she's not arround Donna but any of the ladies are great! They do men and women so don't be frightened away by the line that it's an all woman barbershop. Their prices also seem to be in line with what I hear you get for haircuts in Peoria but to be honest I haven't been to any other barbershop in over 20 years! As for the person mentioning Jo Marie no longer being there... sadly she passed away and that's the reason she's not there.

Shannon was my stylist and took off a huge chunk of my hair by my ear when I asked for my bangs to be trimmed. Now the two sides of my hair do not match up at all and are completely uneven. I was clear in what I wanted and after the matter the owner of the salon came and tried to fix it by layering the rest of my hair to match. A 3 inch chunk of hair missing from the side of your head, however, is not fixable. I will have to pin back my hair for at least a year until it reaches the length of the rest of my hair. Even then, it is quite noticeable. The service was terrible and took forever. Not worth it, even with the groupon. Don't waste your time and go great clips or literally any other salon.

I'm in Peoria for a day and I need to make myself presentable and have never let anyone touch my beard in the 4 years I've been growing it. Well that's not true one time I let someone touch it and that is why nobody ever touched it since then. But Mr Ray met me in the Hall yesterday as I was coming by to check out the place, for those of you like me you know the feel of the place is as important as just about anything else. There is no way to fully explain the absolute pleasure it was to have my beard trimmed and my edges trimmed by such an incredible artist of hair!! I can only tell you that if he decides to open up and speak with you it is a life-changing interaction!

Let me break it down for you First the sunny greeting - Sarah greeted us and said she would be right with us. She has a killer smile (in a good way, not an actual killer) and made us feel welcome. She took the time to ask what I wanted. She repeated it back to me and asked if I was allergic to anything. Extra points for confirming that she understood what I wanted! She checked along the way to make sure I was happy with what she was doing and if I was happy with the final result. Perfect - Sarah did a great job. I think they have fair prices compared to Orlando where I live and I will certainly stop in ask for Sarah who seems to be a new stylist at this location. I recommend asking for Sarah Koeppel and tipping appropriately - I sure did.

I have been going to this place over the last year, but I think I am done. Their prices are listed…read moreon a board when you first walk in, but apparently they get to charge you whatever they feel like. I have been charged anywhere from $15-32 and I always get the same service. Wash-cut-blowdry. I never vary from that and my style really hasn't changed. I maybe switch up my bangs once in awhile...whoopdi-do. Now, their wash-cut-blowdry is listed on the board for $22. The last two times I have been in there, I have been charge $32 and I don't understand why. My hair wasn't styled, it isn't exceptionally long or thick. I received no other services and bought no other products. There fails to be an explanation why I am being charged an extra $10 for my service. Seriously $32 for a trim? This is Hair Cuttery...not Ulta...if I wanted to pay that much, I would go to a nicer hair salon, not the cheap place. That's why I go there, because I don't want to pay that much!! I've always had decent service, though I can't always say the staff is friendly. I hardly ever see the same faces and most of the time they always seem like they are bored and can't wait to get done with you. Once and awhile I get someone friendly that actually smiles.
