I spent over $3000.00 on these blinds. One of my windows is 16 ft high. They told me they sold a solar charger because the charger is on the top of the shade. After the delivery and installation they told me the solar charger would only work if i had a sky light . They also told me they would have to be charged around every 2 years. Well they die every 6 months and i have to pay a handy man to come with a 16 ft ladder to plug the charger in and then let it sit there for 24 hours. This has become quite costly. They tell you anything to make a sale. Also I ordered and additional wire to charge the other shades and of course they told me one week for fed ex delivery. Its been over that and all they keep saying is there has been a delay but they cashed the money really quickly. There was no delay with that. I would not recommend them. Only company worse is Blinds to go because 3 day blinds at least has good quality although expensive. Blinds to go was so cheap and cut poorly they did not even last a year. Ordered zebra blinds and although they're beautiful and they have aesthetically made the room cuter, the cord that holds the blinds keeps breaking. It's been fix already and the same thing happened again. Blinds are very pricey, cost should match quality Awaiting solution. read more

Don't do it! They sent out a consultant. She measured incorrectly. She missed windows and lied and said she never saw them. We had to call and beg the company to fix the windows that were not done correctly. We ended up spending over 8k on a job that has yet to be fixed. Terrible customer service. read more

A couple of years ago, I purchased blinds for my sunroom from 3 Day Blinds. I was very happy when they were installed. Just recently, as I was pulling them up, one of the faux wood slats caught on the string and it snapped off. I figured that a quick call to the office and they would send someone out to repair the broken slat. Now, two months later, and I'm being told that they no longer sell this blind. They will NOT repair it and wanted to sell me an inferior blind (which would require replacing all of them) or a size that will not look good in the room. They told me that they would credit me if I wanted to purchase new blinds, but will not give me a credit in cash so that I can hire a handy man to repair the blinds. At the time, I paid quite a bit of money for these blinds. Now, I have a room that looks horrible because of one broken blind slat. Be cautious - when a seller refuses to fix a simple thing and ignores you because you just want it repaired, you should stay away! read more

We've had the blinds for about 2 months now: Quality 5/5 - no issues so far, the automated blinds haven't completely synced up yet and the receiver doesn't reach all our window in the living room sometimes but not a big deal Installation- 5/5- professional, fast and good installation. Our blinds got installed in two visits as they became available. Consultation/contract- 1/5- this is where they really lose stars. When we did a consult we let them know that we really wanted our treatments in ASAP. Because of our location, other houses can see inside very easily. We knew there was a supply issue because of the pandemic and we were willing to pay a little more if could get certain rooms done quicker. Our designer let us know that they are called "3 day blinds for a reason." So it sounded perfect! During our consult, the designer (I think that's the right title) offered very little suggestions. She told us anything we wanted to hear. Luckily having been through this before, we knew what we were looking for so didn't need any help with suggestions. But for someone else who wants to get more creative, it might be a problem. We settled on designs, etc and signed the contract on the spot because they offered a discount. A couple days later we get a call that installation is scheduled at least 5 weeks from now for the living room and that the rest of the shades will be ready in 2 weeks- so nothing really in 3 days. We tried getting out of the contract, but of course they called us after the mark where we could cancel to tell us about the delivery and installation. Remember those clauses about "war, pandemic, etc" that we typically glossed over because they were so far fetched? Well not anymore. We asked them to install the shades as they became available which they did. The hold up in our order were the valences for the electric shades and we asked if they could install them without since we really just wanted the privacy. The installer said it's possible and when we contacted our design consultant she said yes as well and then never answered us to schedule a date for that. I don't think I properly expressed our frustration in this review. But trying to reason with them was just ridiculous. The actual shades came out and nice and installation and set up was perfect. My mom had a consultant Gillen come measure her windows to install new blinds a couple of weeks ago. The consultant did not measure properly. As such, not all the blinds were installed when it came in today due to the incompetent work. They installed cheap paper over the windows as a temporary fix (see picture). I just had my window treatments from 3 Day Blinds installed and I love, love love them!!! I have the woven wood blinds in my living room, dining room, master bedroom and bath. I also have crystal pleated double blinds in a beautiful terra cotta shade on my slider and white faux wooden blinds in my family room. What a difference it makes in my house. The woven blinds in a dark brown shade with some tan contrasts are very dramatic looking, while at the same time letting light in to my living room. In my bedroom I decided on a liner to protect from the light from outside and those who could be looking inside, but also opted for the top down shade so during the daytime I could keep the top open to let light in nd the bottom open so my dog could look out the window. The entire experience was exactly what I was hoping for, from my initial visit to installation. Edy my consultant arrived on time with plenty of books for me to make choices from. After talking about what I wanted Edy started taking measurements of my windows while I search the books. I narrowed it down to five different options for the woven wooden shades and then Edy looked at my choices and made recommendations. We then talked about my six-foot slider about what would be best as far as keeping the cold out and still allowing entrance and exit through the door. She suggested the color, which blends perfectly with my kitchen. Plus I could immediately tell after installation that it was much better keeping the cold out then the insulated drapes I had on there before. Edy also volunteered to help me pick out new paint colors for my walls. The order took approximately 2 weeks from when I ordered it, but we had discussed the timing and since I was traveling the timing was perfect. When they arrived Bob the installer called me and we worked out when he would come. I had to cancel last minute because of jury duty, but Bob rescheduled for the next day, which I was thankful for. Installation was just as easy Bob arrived at our scheduled time and removed all the old window treatments and installed the new ones in less than two hours. He also disposed of my old window treatments which was time savings for me. Bob was very professional and needed little of my time as I had to run some business meetings in my house while he was here I would recommend 3-Day Blinds and Edy to anyone who wants excellent service and does not have a lot of time to waste. My husband and I met a great salesman by the name of David Siegel today, So Genuine and what wonderful down to earth soul. He was referred to us by a friend of ours. We were interested in getting new faux wooden blinds . He came over measured all the rooms, gave us recommendations, chatted us up and really won our hearts with his personality and great spirit. Unfortunately the prices were a little to steep for our pocket but definitely a great salesperson. We were hoping this company provided price matching with one of its major competitors but it was well over our price point. I know that their product is probably better quality but really was over priced. Our design consultant, Diane Russell, was excellent. She was in no rush when she came to our house and helped us choose the right product and colors for our new bathroom and front entrance door. The company kept us informed of the progress by email and the installer confirmed his appointment and was right on time to complete the installation. The installers came back today to install my bedroom shade and to inspect my defective living room shade. Sure enough, they said the one in the living room was a manufacturer error and has to be replaced. Then they opened the boxes for my new bedroom shade and valance and discovered that there were two valances and no shades. So once again, I have to wait for two new shades to be ordered, manufactured, and installed. It's literally three weeks since I first placed my order. It's beginning to feel personal. 3-day blinds? Try 3-month blinds. I placed an order on December 30, was told due to supply chain issues, there would be a longer wait. First install attempt was mid-February. 4 of my 5 shades were incorrectly cut and had to be reordered. Two+ weeks later, second attempt at installation; this time 1 was still wrong and had to be recut. Two weeks later, install was finally completed. Never an apology, never an explanation, never an offer to expedite a reorder, and no offer of a discount to account for this unacceptable inconvenience. My wife and I ordered our shutters in April of this year. We were given the 1st of June as our installation date. As of now we still have no blinds. We have called several times and have been given the run around. The customer service, after you have placed your order, is atrocious. We will not be using them for the remainder of our remodel. If you want blinds and and want them delivered in a timely manner I would strongly recommend going with a local company that understands customer service. I had my blinds installed two days ago from 3 Day Blinds and I can't say enough about how much I love them!!! I came across an advertisement for 3 Day Blinds on Facebook. Having just spent months researching the purchase and installation of plantation blinds (at a ridiculously high price) I decided to give 3 Day Blinds a call. Within 24 hours I received a phone call to set up an appointment and the following Saturday Edy arrived at my doorstep. Edy was AMAZING! She gave me some great ideas and was knowledgable, friendly, professional, and PREPARED. She even brought her own printer! Needless to say, I purchased my blinds on the spot at a fraction of the cost and I am beyond happy. Bob, the installer, was awesome too. He was in and out and cleaned up everything. It would have taken me a week to accomplish what he did in a few hours...and that was 9 windows! I have referred 3 Day Blinds to friends and family.
