Filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau - they claimed they have been in touch with me to resolve - when I produced all the emails that have not been responded to and a screenshot of my on hold for over 14 minutes, they stopped responding to the Better Business Bureau! Updating my review from 2 to 1 stars. It's been 8 weeks and they've proposed a date to come fix it that is over 2 weeks away. So 10 weeks to fix a blind!!! These guys might need to update their name... I was happy with the look of my blinds, despite the very high cost. However in 1 year my Roman shades have broken 2 times because the entire design hinges on a very small and flimsy piece of plastic. The first time they fixed it in a reasonable timeframe. the second time has ruined my opinion of the company. it's been 6 weeks and I haven't been able to use my blinds. - after 2 weeks they sent a technician but he didn't have the correct part (even though I had send a picture of what was broken) - after 2 more weeks and no word from them apparently the FedEx box "was missing and they would order it again" - after another two weeks the package has supposedly been delivered but no one from the company or the installer will respond to me. 6 weeks without being able to fix my blinds is absolutely insane. Once I got someone on the phone but they transferred me (to someone who I held for). Gave up after 15 minutes. Go with a local firm who will stand behind their product. 3 Day Blinds is not cheap and they have good sales people, but they outsource the install to contractors who can't/won't follow up on the install. Writing to affirm the reviews listed citing zero accountability and poor communication. Avoid this company if you can. I am in the middle of a full home interior renovation and have had positive experiences with all of our subs except this one. The core issue is poor communication: they are not professional, timely, or clear in what they are doing or when they are doing it in your home, but very swift to charge you (without notifying you in advance!). When the customer service team was contacted they made zero attempt to understand my core complaint and referred me to my contract rather than calling me back as requested. Ordered 4 bamboo floor length shades for two sliding glass doors back in September 2022 for over $4,500. Only saw a swatch when sales rep, Arky, talked us into them. I requested a full single header to go over the two on each slider so they looked professional and one unit. Arky said that's the way would come. When the blinds finally came in the installer, Max, came and hung them and we looked at them and said this is very poor quality we want them replaced. They were ripped, torn, frayed, and literally pieced together. The tops looked like a craft project my 3 year old grand daughter could have done and for a lot less money! The installer, Max said he would put in a request to reorder. I didn't want them but he said that's what we had to do. Once he left and I was working the mechanisms one broke instantly and fell to the floor. I came him back right away to come back and fix but he wouldn't answer the phone. After months of calling and writing customer service, sales rep, Arky and installer Max we still don't have any resolution and one shade that is full out broken! I have emails, phone calls and even tried my credit card company. 3 day blinds lied to the credit card company about them trying to resolve but I wasn't answering. Absolute lies. I am over 60 years old and have always bought Hunter Douglas products in multiple homes and have NEVER come across a delinquent company with such inferior product that do not stand by their warranty. Beware - do not buy from them and a sales rep named Arky! It is now 5 months later and STILL have no resolution. WHAT.A.NIGHTMARE. We had a designer come to our new construction home about a month ago (and had scheduled a few other big name competitors the same week). We had a good idea what we wanted design wise so I don't think he added much to that experience yet he lingered around our house only half wearing his mask for a good 3ish hours. When it came time to do the 'quote' he continually had trouble doing simple math. Eventually he gives us a quote, we tell him thank you we'll consider this along with the other estimates we would be getting and let him know. Here comes the hard sell, the discounts, the promise of installation by May 28 - June 10. ... Long story short, it's June 10 - we gave a deposit, we cancelled our other estimates and still have no blinds. My husband was just told by 3DayBlinds customer services that regardless of ANYTHING a sales rep says, their fine print states it may not be true / you cannot cancel outside of the initial 3 days. Is this real life? Their sales team has the liberty to lie about ... well ... anything without repercussions and this is fine by HQ? I would never use this company again, and we are likely going to pursue legal action here for the bait and switch. The worst decision you could make would be to trust and purchase something from 3 Day Blinds. Their sales consultants are incredibly desperate and pushy, as they're 100% commission based and they'll do anything to rip you off. One of their sales consultants quoted us at $11,000 and when the consultant realized we weren't stupid enough to ever consider an amount like that for blinds, the consultant quoted us at $4,500. Right there you can see the strategy. It's sad and pathetic. The sales consultant literally stood in our new house, shaking, telling us they were 100% commission and almost begging us to commit to getting them a sale by agreeing to allow the product to be purchased and installed. It was the most uncomfortable sales experience I have ever partaken in. We ended up going to Home Depot where we found beautiful, high quality cordless blinds for $45-$55 each. You don't need custom blinds. Home Depot employees won't pressure you, they're knowledgeable and they will give you the best price instead of trying to manipulate and pressure and rip you off like this company does to hundreds of displeased clients. Home Depot even cut the blinds to size for us and said we could return if anything didn't fit. We put the blinds up in our home and it couldn't have been EASIER. This company wants to trick and manipulate you into believing that you need to spend thousands on blinds and shutters and curtains for them to last and be high quality, but any intelligent person will tell you that isn't the case. I selected 3 Day Blinds for the blinds in my new home in Andover. Connie Ray came out on a Saturday to measure and go through all the options with me. She did a great job and was very thorough. Connie was also able to arrange for the installation to be done on a Saturday right after I moved into the house which made things very easy for me. The installation team arrived on time, worked quickly and cleaned up after themselves. I was very impressed with the great job that they did. I've had the absolute worst experience with 3 Day Blinds. I ordered all new blinds and shutters for my entire house. It took 2 months for the blinds to be installed and 6 months for the shutters to be installed. When the shutters were installed, one set was damaged. They've refused to return my calls or emails about repairing the damage. When I call, they hang up on me. After 2 months of trying to get a hold of them, I disputed the charge with my credit card. 3 days later someone calls me to schedule an appointment to fix the damage. Here we are the day of the appointment and the installer is a no show. I guess I'll be sticking with the credit card dispute. Forget 3 days -- I opted for a reduced price (gimmick I later realized to make me think I was getting a deal) if the blinds came in about three weeks. They arrived on time -- but five of the six windows had been mis-measured -- and I had to wait two more weeks for them to be installed due to new blinds having to be made and the installers availability! The same consultant who mis-measured the blinds -- who was clearly having a bad day -- also did not properly advise me of all of my options and therefore I was unhappy with the way the blinds turned out. The quote was very overpriced. The quote given to get drapes on the entry way to our backyard with two sliders was $1785. The person who came in to give us quote said it would take about 15 mins to get the quote ready after she did the measurements and took about 1 hour and 30 mins. She was knowledgeable on the options and gave good interior designing tips but the quote just didn't make sense. They're over 1k more expensive and don't think the quality is any better. We have had issue after issue: the person to come measure didn't show up on scheduled day without even a call. They somehow lost one of our large picture window blinds and had to reorder. The bedroom blinds in one room were too short. Had to reorder. They also tried to schedule weeks out after contract said they'd be installed by x date. They take your money the day you confirm and then you're at their mercy to get it right which they've failed to do several times now. Would not recommend. read more

We started by trying to go to Home Depot- big mistake. I tried for 2 weeks just to get someone to come to my house to measure the windows for blinds and I couldn't get anyone to come. Then I called one of those fancy expensive places and they wanted me to come to a show room and they were super expensive. Then I called 3 day blinds and all my prayers were answered. Long story short, within 1 week from calling I had blinds! I called the 800 number. A real person answered. 2 days later the wonderful, kind and extremely helpful Elizabeth was at our house. She spent 4 hours with me as I tried to figure out what worked best where. I can't say enough good things about Elizabeth. She was fantastic! Highly discourage using this company - be aware of cancelled orders, employee negligence and still being charged in full. I am a 3 time repeat customer who has referred multiple people to my sales person. I ordered blinds from her again in March and was told it might take longer than usual due to COVID and that my latest install date would be May 27th. They charged my credit card in full late March on the date I ordered. I called late May as I hadn't heard anything (usually installer calls to set up a date). I was told by "customer care" that an employee (who is no longer with the company) failed to confirm some information about my order back when it was placed and it was cancelled - but I was still charged in full!! They proceeded to say they would process my order now - and it would take a few weeks and refused to provide a new install date. I've been asking for escalation to a manager and updated install date for over a week now with no success. I have no idea when I'll get my order after paying in full over two months ago. Hugely disappointed with this company. My wife and I spent over $600 on a single "split shade" system that was incorrect from the moment it was installed. Sales person (she was very professional) told us there would be a 5/8" vertical gap between the two shades which was fine with us. What they did NOT tell us up front was that the two shades would not line up along the bottom, so one is always higher than the other and looks like a poorly installed mistake. After three separate attempts to rectify the situation, "Frank" at corporate is telling us that this is just how the system is. The company's attitude is basically "live with it". This company needs to own up to it's mistakes, or not offer such an inferior product in the first place (split shade system). We will be passing the word. read more

She sensed that I didn't have a great deal of time to work on the project and adjusted her schedule accordingly. I would absolutely work with her again. She is fantastic and very talented. 2. The blinds turned out beautifully. They are well made and will last many years. Cons - the only two reasons I couldn't give them 5 Stars.... 1. I made the request of having a balloon shade taken down during installation - more than once - and it was still there when I finally saw the blinds. I suggest not delegating the install date to someone who isn't going to make sure the work gets done properly when the installers arrive but still... 2. Excellent service and product from the team at 3 Day Blinds. Worked with designer Elyse who helped coordinate rooms (at my request) and worked to "translate" my vision into beautiful end products. I picked fabric that was not easy to work with (french text) and wanted to be sure seems were invisible and the different window treatments had equal text density (e.g. same amount of wording visually but not the same exact cut of cloth to be too "matchy"). Appointments were easy, installation quick and efficient and check-ins to be sure I was 100% satisfied. Overall = great!! read more

Connie did a great job with our initial consultation (working around our toddler she was all grace and patience and class) and her follow up was excellent. The installers were on time, precise, friendly, and they cleaned up. Because of the size/shape of the windows we required a custom product that entailed several careful measurements/angles, and the fit is excellent. The product is beautiful, high quality and a good value. I was a reluctant blind-shopper (my husband wanted coverings for these windows, I did not), and I am a convert, these shades are great. So we heard of this company through a friend who used them. We scheduled an appt with the sales woman. She came and was very very nice. She knew what she was talking about and had a bunch of samples. We felt very comfortable with her. We ordered a bunch and the following week they were installed. Great service. We ordered a shade for the kitchen that was going to take 4-5 weeks to make. No big deal. Our sales woman told us "it would be the easiest thing you can do" to install it. Ummmmm Ya ok lol. We received the shade without one piece of installation instructions lol. We got 1 bag of screws. I called and they told me they would over night me the correct mounting brackets and to look on their site for the installation instructions. I did look, good luck to anyone who can understand the instructions. I got the brackets the next day and surprise THEY WERE WRONG. Call back again. They said they would overnight me the correct ones AGAIN. That was Friday. It is now Monday and we didn't receive any brackets only a phone call and email from a case specialist who tells us you don't need brackets to drill the screws thru the headrail into the window frame. I called to find out if this is true because I don't wanna drill thru a $1000 shade but no one can help me. No one knows anything and you will be on hold for an hour. Nelson ( a supervisor) finally came on the line and scheduled a free installation so I'm hoping this all ends soon with a beautiful soft roman shade hung up in the kitchen.
