    @3 Day Blinds at what point do you actually respond after promising a return call ? You responded rather quick to my post but then, once again, silence on any actual action. Does the response make people think you are doing something for the customer ?

    Ordered 4 bamboo floor length shades for two sliding glass doors back in September 2022 for over $4,500. Only saw a swatch when sales rep, Arky, talked us into them. I requested a full single header to go over the two on each slider so they looked professional and one unit. Arky said that's the way would come. When the blinds finally came in the installer, Max, came and hung them and we looked at them and said this is very poor quality we want them replaced. They were ripped, torn, frayed, and literally pieced together. The tops looked like a craft project my 3 year old grand daughter could have done and for a lot less money! The installer, Max said he would put in a request to reorder. I didn't want them but he said that's what we had to do. Once he left and I was working the mechanisms one broke instantly and fell to the floor. I came him back right away to come back and fix but he wouldn't answer the phone. After months of calling and writing customer service, sales rep, Arky and installer Max we still don't have any resolution and one shade that is full out broken! I have emails, phone calls and even tried my credit card company. 3 day blinds lied to the credit card company about them trying to resolve but I wasn't answering. Absolute lies. I am over 60 years old and have always bought Hunter Douglas products in multiple homes and have NEVER come across a delinquent company with such inferior product that do not stand by their warranty. Beware - do not buy from them and a sales rep named Arky! It is now 5 months later and STILL have no resolution. On to Better Business Bureau so others will know what a scam this company and their employees are. I will have to scrap these and start over.

    Damage to shutters at install.

    I've had the absolute worst experience with 3 Day Blinds. I ordered all new blinds and shutters for my entire house. It took 2 months for the blinds to be installed and 6 months for the shutters to be installed. When the shutters were installed, one set was damaged. They've refused to return my calls or emails about repairing the damage. When I call, they hang up on me. After 2 months of trying to get a hold of them, I disputed the charge with my credit card. 3 days later someone calls me to schedule an appointment to fix the damage. Here we are the day of the appointment and the installer is a no show. I guess I'll be sticking with the credit card dispute. Also, 3-Day Blinds was the most expensive option so I figured they'd have better customer service. Clearly not! STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

    I wish I read the reviews first. I had the blinds installed last Friday and on Sunday I noticed 2 of the 6 blinds were really crooked. No problem, I will call the salesperson John. My number was blocked and I tried to message and that was blocked. I already e-mailed and sent a picture and even though it looked like his e-mail it was a noreply e-mail. Really bad business - what if I wanted to order more? Called customer care waited 20 minutes and the phone cut out. Called again, waited 20 minutes and the guy said hello and the phone cut off. They pick-up on the free consultation line though. That guy said he would e-mail the manager. All I want is the 2 blinds put up straight! Update - it took a couple of days to resolve. Mark N was outstanding. He kept on my issue and now I have the installers coming back this week to fix the crooked blinds. Because of Mark, I updated my rating from a 1 to a 4.

We fired them…read more As a couple, we found the process to be awkward: the architects, with Treff LaFleche as the main contact person, didn't listen to many of our wishes and instead kept pushing certain features that we repeatedly said we didn't want. We also found the billing rates and hours to be very high. We even had almost comical arguments about the size of the project with many discussions about gross vs. livable space, even though all that was stipulated in the contract, and we had thoroughly scoped the anticipated cost of the project. After my wife became frustrated and then sketched out on her own what she wanted, we realized that we had the wrong architect. He was designing a house that he wanted vs. what we wanted. So, just after we fired Treff, we both felt incredibly relieved. He was imperious and didn't want to listen to us. Later, we learned that a friend of ours decided not to work with LDa; she said that Treff seemed very distracted. We later found a new architect, who proved to be amazing: very responsive, an open and positive attitude, listened carefully to us, and billed us at very "fair" rates and hours. We got the design we wanted, almost zero heartburn, and at a fraction of the cost of LDa. His name is Tim Blanchard. If you call him, feel free to mention my name. Edit, April 2017: 1. A few Yelpers contacted me, also lodging negative experiences with LDa. Here is a DM from one: "I can't remember whom we talked to, we kept being pushed around." Yup, they're pushy. 2. Please note that Houzz reviews are a sham. The vendor must approve them. Mine was never approved. 3. LDa's Facebook reviews are thin: They comprise of me, a photographer whom they hire, and some random users.

But when the latch on my laptop busted, I finally stopped in. I opted to drop in here instead of making an appointment or waiting on line at the Apple Store. (I'd already stumped the Genius Bar with a problem with my iPod Touch, so I wasn't eager to wait in line for a dead end again.) There was no wait. I explained my problem, paid the $30 bench fee, and was told I'd get a call from a tech in one or two business days. Got a call the next day, explaining that they'd fixed the problem quickly and that my computer was ready for pickup! No additional fee, no long wait time. Sure, my issue was a simple one. But at other places, it might have sat on a shelf for a while before anyone had time to look at it. I'm completely satisfied with quick turnaround and courteous service. They have a free wi-fi network that also covers Sonsie, BAC, Trident and a few others. If you didn't bring your compie along, they've got half a dozen Macs to play around on. The small, light blue space is somehow airy and comfortable. They have a few beverages, but are no cafe by any means. I speculate that being an authorized Apple repair center actually pays the bills and the other stuff is just to have the distraction of people and have some sort of human contact. They also sell basic Mac accessories. Can't say much about their repairs, but the staff that I've interacted with are pleasant college kids who play non-offensive music, so work can be done. By the time you reach this end of Newbury it's a nice respite from the heat and weariness and an easy alternative to my couch-cum-office.
