This is a very nice range. Everyone at the store is friendly and helpful and can usually answer any question you might have. For complete novice shooters, they have training classes available as well as one-on one training sessions. They offer qualification classes for those wanting to get their carry concealed license through the state. The Pro Shop has a rental section so you can try different guns before you buy. They also have an extensive inventory of handguns and rifles available for purchase. Saving the best for last, the range recently remodeled and updated the entire firing line and have state-of-the-art gun bays which make going there for recreational shooting that much more pleasant. We attended a course at the center and met the store staff. The staff were friendly and helpful. The center has an indoor shooting range with safety being paramount. We perused the store while awaiting for our lane to open. The store has several nice firearms for sale along with various accessories. The lane fees are reasonable. read more

Not impressed. Went to 2A on 12/30/23, maybe not the best time for new buyers to look for help buying our first handguns. My only other experience I had with them a few years ago was also not positive. But, since 2A has really high ratings, I decided to give them another try. The line for the range was constant, so that took most of the time of one (of two!) employee's time. The other had a buyer filling out paper forms - not a multi-tasker. He never acknowledged our presence while he stood by waiting for the form to be completed. We waited patiently in front of the loaner display for assistance. After a while, the range guy came over and asked "Do you want something?" I told him we were new owners-to-be and wanted to look at guns. If I hadn't done a lot of research on my own, we may have just been standing there looking at each other. No assistance or feedback was given about the pistols we were considering. He basically rushed us into the range process with dirty guns. $100 later, two completely unprepared shooters are in a crowded space with no instruction and no apparent supervision or monitoring. Again, my research was our only preparation. Very dangerous environment. With no guidance and $.50 hearing protection I left with some permanent hearing loss in one ear. Next stop (also 12/30/23) was Action Arms. With only three employees, they presented the opposite end of the service spectrum with a comparable non-range store crowd. We purchased $2000 of Sig Sauer pistols, after spending at least an hour with the owner looking at EVERYTHING we wanted to see. Went to Frontier Justice to shoot. Professional setup, with a required safety video. Met by the Range Officer at the door. As "newbies" he asked us questions, reviewed the safety rules, and instructed us on the use of their state-of-the-art target system. At first, he stayed behind us to make sure we (and other shooters) were ok and safe. He regularly walked the range, talking to shooters, and giving suggestions. These two competitors put 2A to shame in the firearms safety and service categories. 2A is in my rear view mirror. read more

Let's start by saying the check in process takes forever. For three people shooting in two lanes with 4 targets, 3 safety glasses, and 3 pair of earplugs it's was $65! WAY overpriced. If you shoot their stupid binder clips it's $5 if you shoot the cardboard it's $5. My brother jokingly said well since I have to pay for the cardboard I shot, can I keep it. The young girl said "in pieces" and ripped in up in front of us. How ridiculous is that. You are making him pay for on bullet hole in a piece of cardboard then you won't let him keep i and you tear it up and throw it away? What's the purpose?? Thanks to that little ridiculousness, I will never be back. You can find cheaper ranges folks. Believe me this is not worth the attitude. read more

Took my conceal carry training there (back when it was mandatory). Nice people, clean range. Lots of inventory.

Four of us went shooting for a fun day. First time at this range. When checking in there is piece of poster hanging behind the counter that states: don't be this guy. No other explanation. We finished shooting, took our piece of cardboard back to the counter. The man behind the counter said, there will be a damage fee. Damage fee? We were charged 5 dollars for each of the two pieces of cardboard. The way the target attaches to the piece of cardboard there will be "damage" if head shots are taken. Upon arrival this "damage" fee should be explained to people. If two people share a lane, the damage fee makes up for two lanes not being rented. Does this "damage" fee pay for lunches everyday? Is this explained to people that come in? When we arrived there were other patrons there and never was there an explanation. We will not be returning to this range, the "damage" fee is highway robbery. read more

Great place, friendly and professional people. I love 2A Shooting Center, if I have any complaint (And it's not really a complint) it is the method of hanging targets. They use a cheap piece of cardboard that they charge $5 for if you hit it! "IT'S CARDBOARD!" it makes it hard to want to do a headshot on the target because you don't want to pay 5 bucks if your shot goes high. If they would reshape the cardboard a little higher in the center, that would fix it. But, oh well, they're still a great place. read more

I went here for the first time last week and had a great time. I took my dad so we could spend some time together. We went up, paid, and then the gentlemen explained the rules and how everything worked. We got our targets, shot a couple hundred rounds, and had a good time. I'm glad we went. A few notes though: mark the distances inside of the range so we can know how far we are shooting. Don't charge people $5 if they hit the cardboard that holds the target up. The head on the target is literally only 1-2 inches of the cardboard...not a good policy. Get a few more stools for the counter in the range so we can sit to reload. Besides that we enjoyed the experience and will be back at some point. Thanks! read more

Love this place! Hubby and I visited a couple times then invested in a family membership. Helpful staff and roomy lanes make this a great place to shoot. This place is great! It's an indoor pistol/rifle range with 16 lanes. The nonmember range fee is a reasonable $20. The place is clean, the staff is super helpful, and the operation is orderly. When's the last time you've been to a range that is decorated inside? And please, please, take a look at the poster to the left of the sink in the women's restroom. read more

wow...what a great place!!! I took my 10 year old here for a private lesson then we shot ARs and a Glock. He was so so happy. When we were leaving we asked if we could take a picture of the silencer rack and they went out of their way to get a gun with a silencer just for a picture...great staff, very accommodating, clean, top shelf! The range is good and they have a nice little shop, however, they carry a fairly small inventory in comparison to many places I shop. When I have been in the market of looking for a new gun, they don't have the item and want to order it. I have a number friends who are police officers and they highly recommend them but I am pretty sure it is due to a discount they get. Prices are decent but higher than most dealers I have done business with around Tulsa. If you are looking to sell something I would highly recommend against it as the offers I have received are aggravatingly low. I think they are more interested in consigning items for 15%. I have spent too much time trying to do business with 2A and will only be using their range going forward. read more

The facilities are great. I remember when they first started. Things were great. I can't say the same now. Along with experience a wait time to get a lane, during shooting I was being showered by the shooter's casings next to me. Maybe just slighty extended walls could make things more enjoyable. (also cut down on the report from shooter next to you) Prices were at one time were the best in town, but they have went up which is understood but this new target rule is kind of absurd. I can understand if it's REALLY high or if you break a clip even. You can see very clearly by shot placement which shots can be damaging. Also flipping the target upside down is an idea yes, but then you don't have the head shot placement that you go to the shooting range to practice in the first place.
