I like that they put a premium on safety, and there is a range master on duty at all times who calls "ceasefire" and then watches all guns on the benches to make sure no one is handling one while people are downrange checking their targets. I enjoy little personal touches. In the lobby they have snacks and a nice selection of cold drinks. They also have merch like T-shirts, hats, gun accessories. They have a nice high quality colorful detailed map of the property, which I thought was nice. I do better with visual rather than verbal directions. Unfortunately I need to take my new gun back to Scheels, it's not working properly and it has us all stumped... But that was cool that he took time out and he tried helping me. Get the AC fixed so members can enjoy the reason they signed up for. The place is a huge revolving door of employees and the old cuss that just sits in the chair behind the counter has GOT to be a family friend b/c he isn't friendly nor is he helpful outside of just ringing you up. The place looks like an underground dungeon and the range is so very poorly lit. I have a membership but I learned my lesson to not go there. Any previous good reviews must be from the early years when they gave a damn about customer service. If you like saunas and are looking to sweat off the pounds, give it a go! Otherwise spend your money at a better qualified and COOLER place.
