I was doing a large project severely affected by the virus, and it was paused. Without warning Platt refused to allow me to negotiate a payoff plan for the $29,000 I was cheated o from by the low ethics developer, and instead sued me. They filed for an incorrect amount and their attorney refused to accept payments,instead tried to force me into bankruptcy. I don't know how they got a court date then because the courts were not even hearing civil cases, but I guess big money and expensive lawyers get their way. If you are a small contractor stay away, the moment you get screwed by a customer Platt will immediately go for the kill shot, no matter low long you've been a customer, or how many hundreds of thousands of dollars you have spent with them for materials. I was in shock over the over the top heavy handed and oppressive posture, the arrogant and dismissive snarky attitude of the account manager, and the haughty, overbearing lack of understanding. So much for the last twelve years of being a loyal Platt customer. Buyer beware, they will drive a knife in your back at the drop of a hat. If you are a contractor, you already know how difficult it is to collect from some customers.
