The opposite of what is advertised...no matter what they promise in rent concessions.
1) I have had multiple residents tell me about louder than normal resident sounds despite assurances of soundproofing to "higher than normal" levels.
2) Multiple residents have referenced multiple electrical "errors" that have resulted in higher than normal heating and cooling bills (e.g. in excess of $100 of 'normal' operating limits),
despite management assurances of "normal" operations.
3) "Green" HVAC system that will reportedly cause you to spend around $50 more per month on utilities (management claims this is the "best system available", however consumer tests and resident provided data prove otherwise)
4) Residents with skylights have consistently reported "large chunks" of mortar, dust, and other debris consistently coming down onto furniture and during social events (e.g. dinner parties)
- management has defended themselves as "this is an old building, that's what happens", even though THEY HAVE BEEN OPEN FOR LESS THAN 3 YEARS.
5) Management is focused on "ancillary" benefits (e.g. community parties in vacant retail spaces) versus providing listed "promised" benefits (e.g. rooftop grill) - statement to prove they claim "resident immaturity" as defense of can be requested via email from multiple current residents.
6) Promise of "secure" building means you have to "swipe" in to at least 3 "checkpoints" (e.g. outside door, inside door, elevator - if it even accepts your swipe, then your apartment door). Concierge service not 24/7 as advertised, 100% turnover in concierge staff does not ensure security. Statements by building of "security errors" (e.g. elevators not operating, lapses in security at front desk) passed off as "not our fault".
