A cracking little magazine which has a good mix of decent, relevant adverts, colourful and interesting features and comprehensive and accurate listings. And the best bit - it's free of charge. 247 magazine is part of Out of Hand publishing and currently has two editions in the Westcountry - the South West edition, covering Cornwall and Devon and the West and Wales edition, which includes Bristol. There is so much going on ents wise in Bristol, it's unsurprising that there are a number of these type of magazines each gunning for a bit of the cake. But 247 is one of the best. It recently had an excellent feature about saving independent record shops and a fantastic summer festival guide. It also has lifestyle pages and pictures of people at clubnights. read more
