Anyway, Mark talked to me for 30 minutes on the project and the way his company does business. He said he would quote me after he came out and walked on the roof and looked things over. He was the first and only contractor to do that. He took pictures of the roof and discussed what was needed. I received the quote promptly. He wasn't the cheapest and was in the midst of most of the other quotes I received. We went with him because of the referral and the 25 year gaf warranty they could offer because they are a MASTER ELITE GAF installer. Because of an opening in their schedule due to a cancellation, they were able to come out within 1 week of signing the contract. They were literally on site working for 5 hours on our 1100 square foot home. They started at 8 am and was gone by 1 pm. The job was completed extremely quickly and appears to be very well done. It's been a week since the install on 6/6/2017, if I have anything to add to this review later, I will update it.

After a rain/wind storm in early March, I had a roofing problem. Shingles had be blown off. I…read morecalled a few roofing companies and only a couple showed up. One was Planet Roof. Because the weather forecast was snow and rain within a week. We quickly settled on Planet Roof. They started the job quickly. They were very messy throwing shingles from the roof scraping the siding, making shingle marks on the decks and more. One time shingles hit the windows hard and the metal screen was damaged. The Project Manager acknowledged the damage and removed the metal screen to repair it. At the end of the day this project manager said the local big box stores couldn't fix the screen because they were Anderson and they would have to completely take it apart to try. Planet Roof completed the roofing job on March 21,2026. Many phone calls and text messages, (mostly never answered by Planet Roof), have passed. Many promises never fulfilled and still, almost 2 months later still no resolution to replace the metal screen. Because they aren't working on making this right, I question the work doe to the roof and their ability to do what's right to customers when they make a problem. Therefore, I would never recommend Planet Roof.

Had a very positive experience with Bucco's with storm damage repair. High winds blew vinyl siding…read moreoff of my house and multiple inspectors told me it was irreparable without looking like an obvious patch job. I got four estimates for replacing the whole damaged surface with new siding. It wasn't enough to justify raising my homeowner's insurance rate, so I was out of pocket. Bucco's wasn't the lowest bid, but it was near the lowest bid, and I felt like they were the most dependable and trustworthy option. I am very happy with my decision. They got all the work done in one day, it looks great, they cleaned up, and all the paperwork was online and automated. Timelines were reasonable and communication was excellent. They got the dumpster picked up early the next business day. I would hire Bucco's again.

First, I would like to say the crew that worked on the house and shingle work is very good by…read moreBuccos roofing, but they won't correct problems they created, so I can't recommend them anymore. I had them install a new roof and gutters on my house last summer. The roof wasn't leaking or having problems just getting old. I had 4" overhangs along the sides of the existing roof. When they were installing the new roof, they informed me that they don't usually do overhangs anymore and asked to remove them. They are the professionals not me so I said okay. In the winter I do get icicles on the dormer but have never had a problem with the water getting into the house. This winter I had a small amount of ice buildup, much smaller than in the past. Because the overhangs were removed the ice reached the fascia and water was able to get behind it and leak into the house. I contacted Buccos roofing and they sent someone to look at it. They said I needed to add a gutter along the dormer to try and keep the ice from getting to the fascia. This is not an ideal solution, but I guess its workable. I was then told I would have to pay for this even though they are the ones that created the problem. They keep saying the roof was installed correctly and it is not there fault. If for over 20 years I have not had water get in then all the sudden it does because the overhangs are gone I would say it's there fault.
