As the report would come in after the selling date and the buyers would be homeless, he then tried to push me to sign the sale keeping £10000 retention. When I said I preferred to wait until the report came back okay, the solicitor started pushing again to let me the buyers move in before finishing the deal. He went on asking for a quote to see how much would cost to install extra appliances and dare to ask me to cover half of the cost. I found this behaviour very unprofessional for me and the buyers. It seemed he was negotiating in a flee market and I had to tell my solicitor I wasn't interested in selling to them anymore unless everything was concluded that same day. I think ethics are important and you should be aware of this behaviour. I won't make any other deal with buyers using the services of this company.

Upon a first impression, they do not look like your average solicitor, but after dealing with them you find that they are not only extremely friendly people, but they know their job and are friendly, trustworthy and reliable. Upon entering the office, you are normally greeted by a secretary and a radio blasting out the latest tunes! The offices are glass panelled, not that discreet but enough so that you still feel like you are one-2-one with your solicitor. They deal with legal aid also. Sometimes it is hard to get an appointment soon, appointments can only be made in the afternoon as the solicitors spend their mornings in court. I would definately recommend using this firm, as they are the best solicitors I have discovered within Edinburgh
