First of all, the job description was incomplete as there was no mention of the usual part with the skills requirements. During the first interview via video, I was surprised to see that the recruiter advisor from Randstad who was working from home was not dressed professionally. There was no effort provided and I felt like I was talking to someone who was wearing one of their Sunday outfit. I really didn't expect that from a HR professional supposed to represent a large group such as Randstad. Also I wish I was not asked about my unemployment gap. I gave my reasons and I felt the recruiter was a bit judgmental. It's okay to share concerns about it but I never felt like it could be an obstacle with other recruiters. With the current situation, anybody could be out of the workforce for a while due to some personal reasons that doesn't need to be mentioned. Then I was scheduled to a second interview with a Manager from Randstad. I was told I would be contacted on that day but didn't received a call. It was another day that I receive the call but without any heads up and apologies for missing it on the scheduled day. Maybe it was a miscommunication between them or simply a miss. I wish I had a heads up, I could have got something scheduled last minute on my end that day. Finally I was able to get an interview with the client via video, one of the HR was there. At the end of the meeting, I was told I would be contacted end of the week. Well... unfortunately nobody from Randstad Technologies contacted me,  I understood I didn't get the job but at least I wish they made the effort to tell me that I was rejected and also to provide the usual feedback. I really don't appreciate the lack of professionalism and liars along the whole process. I felt like I was underestimated and  not taken seriously, was that because I didn't perform well at the final interview, it was so obvious I didn't get the job, they didn't even dare to spill out the beans? Well please do your job til the end. Very disappointing. I don't recommend service from that department.

My initial email to Craig was returned within a matter of hours and an appointment was scheduled for a Friday morning. I fired over my resume and some other requested information before hand. Even before our Friday meeting Craig had emailed me to let me know he had an opportunity that would most likely be of interest for me and would discuss it further in our meeting. There's a fair bit of paperwork to fill out on your initial visit but they're just trying to set you up for success by getting a solid foundation of who you are, what you're about, and what you're looking for.
