I suffer from a neurological injury as well as a lot of trauma, and I was pushing myself in all sorts of directions, trying to find anything that might help me out of the hole I found myself in. Through doing so, I just became more and more frantic and lost. Luckily I found Oli when I needed help the most, and she's been helping me navigate my way through all that ever since! She is an incredibly compassionate and thoughtful provider, who truly respects and treats you like a human being. Her skills allow and encourage you to develop the capacity to help yourself, even when you are on your own. It is so refreshing having a provider that not only genuinely cares for you, but helps you care for yourself just as effectively when you are apart! Since childhood, I have visited countless doctors, specialists, and therapists of all sorts. I never really clicked with any of them, or found them helpful at all. It always seemed that they were treating me as a collection of symptoms, and not a whole person with intricate struggles of my own. Their help was topical at best, while Oli is very skilled at getting to the crux of your troubles, allowing you to heal from the inside out on a much deeper level. We began meeting while my nervous system was in absolute tatters, and now just a handful of months later, I can finally feel it unwinding and relearning safety. I don't think I could've gotten here half as quickly without Oli's guidance and skills. During my time with her, I've gotten to try out all sorts of trauma-focused techniques that really pack a punch. I am looking forward to seeing how much more peace I can find in the months ahead, knowing she has my back along the way.

I had some very profound experiences while revisiting certain aspects of my past self. And it was because of the clean, clear, non-judgmental space that she held that I felt safe to go into these places within me. I am incredibly grateful to Olisia, and highly recommend working with her if you have the opportunity.

I lost my dog a little over two years ago, and when she passed, a piece of my heart and soul went with her. I hadn't been the same since. Rashel suggested hypnotherapy to help me work through the grief. I was skeptical at first, but I was also desperate for anything that might help. After just one session, I can't fully explain how it worked--but I can honestly say that it did. The intense sadness and grief I felt transformed into warm, pleasant memories and gratitude for the time I had with my sweet dog Lucy. For the first time, I was able to talk about her and look at her pictures without breaking down in tears. Rashel, I can't thank you enough. She wanted to ride with me whenever I entered my car, and often jumped in as soon as I opened the car door. I was told that my pet (a rescue) had separation anxiety. She wouldn't eat or go outside unless I was with her. I found it hard to believe that Reginah's psychic abilities enabled her to communicate with animals, but I desperately needed help, and she convinced me she was the right person to work with both of us. I made an appointment to see her, and brought my dog with me. Reginah spent time with me and the dog, first separately and then together. Her warmth, desire to heal and caring spirit were immediately apparent. After just a few sessions, my dog usually was willing to "stay" when I told her to, and I was able to leave the house without her, always promising her to come back soon. The real test came when I had to go on a 5-day trip without my beloved dog. Following Reginah's guidance, I was able to leave her at my home with a person who knew her, loved animals, and had several dogs of her own. Of course, my little dog jumped for joy when I returned and, best of all, I was relieved of my own feelings of guilt and anxiety for "abandoning" her. She says that it's nice that we don't have to pay for parking although everywhere else in Orange County you would have to pay for parking. I expressed my incredulity about her statement, since that was not true in my experience as an Orange County native. She couldn't even validate my experience, which was obviously different from hers but also SUCH a trivial matter. How hard is it to acknowledge that I never had to pay for parking for any kind of services in the OC? She just insisted I was wrong and she was right. It's amazing what the first 5 minutes in a session will tell you. To quote Maya Angelou, "when someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time." I will believe what I saw and experience. And do yourself a favor and believe all the bad reviews!! She claimed to be really direct but I think she's using that as a guise for her cold and standoffish personality. She didn't even seem comfortable being in the session. I came into session wondering if I could trust this person and she acted threatened by that. I'm sorry, but is this your first counseling session ever??? Isn't that a normal part of the job - dealing with clients who are a little hesitant, maybe a little distrustful of you? I don't know if she was experiencing countertransference but she was really not aligned with me at all. In fact, I felt emotionally attacked by this therapist and really unsafe. Oh, and as we were discussing our history, she stated this is not her niche, to which I asked, "what is your niche then?" And she just glared at me and said "this is not it." Lol. Lady, therapy is not your niche. Helping others this way is not your niche. I'm grateful to be in a position to recognize when a counselor is NOT trustworthy and I hope this review serves as a warning sign to others.
