About 80% of my childhood revolves around this place…read more.. From it having a playground, to a baseball field, to tennis and basketball courts, there is a little bit of something for everyone. On a recent trip back to the east coast, I stopped here to visit a friend who was here with his children. I was surprised to see how empty it was; the majority of the people go to Hammonton Park during the day. That keeps the Borough Field a pretty well kept secret!!! They've put a lot of money into the baseball field recently. From an electronic scoreboard, to stadium lights, to enclosed dug-outs, its a great place to play. The park has lots of parking on the street around it, or you can always park at the church next door... Though, I'm sure they wouldn't be too thrilled with me suggesting that, but who goes to church these days any way??? I've spent a lot of time here playing softball, climbing trees, and playing squish the lemon (best game EVER!), and encourage parents to allow their children to do the same!!!

I found starfit club and after reading their reviews I decided to give it a try. I was a little intimidated since I've never done a class like this before but I still wanted to at least give it a try. As soon as I walked in I was greeted at the door and I immediately noticed how clean it smelled- the place was spotless (still pretty impressed by it). The gym did a great job with having us clean up after ourselves and the trainer let me know they fully clean in between each class as well. The class itself was unlike any other class I've been to, from stat to finish I definitely got a great workout in. There were clearly people that were regulars and instead of being intimated I was motivated- phew! No one even noticed that I was new until after class when I mentioned it being my first class. My class trainer was Clarissa, she was so welcoming and made sure to help guide me through what I needed to do, without making it noticeable that I was a complete newbie. Thanks Clarissa and Star Fitclub, I can't wait to be back!

A friend referred us to this gym last year and we've been coming ever since. The gym is clean and the instructors are fantastic; motivating for all levels. Star fit is like a "better" version of an Orange Theory - session of weights, cardio (mix up of rowers, assault bikes, and treadmills). They mix up each session very well, so the class always seems to go by really quick! It's def my go to when I'm in NJ!
