They must've forgot the tequila. Lol Inside was cute but it was so hot inside, hotter than outside. I was going to give a 3 but I decided not to hold them accountable for it being so hot inside the restaurant. The A/C didn't seem on but I guess it was because the doors were open.

We've lived in Texas and Arizona where street tacos are supreme so we were thrilled when our food tasted legit. Like many other Mexican restaurants, you're offered chips and salsa as you peruse the menu. I wasn't a huge fan of the salsa so we got some queso and it was a wee bit runny but great for dipping. I ordered the classic chimichangas with shredded chicken and then subbed the refried beans with rice which ended up being a perfect combination. It came out piping hot and the rice mixed in with the queso -- YUM!! My husband got the fajitas changa I believe as basically shredded beef with fajitas in tortilla wrap smothered in queso sauce. Both came with lettuce, tomatoes, guac and sour cream. Food came out super fast, our server was super attentive and even when my first plate was shredded beef instead of the chicken I ordered, he got me a fresh batch super quick and didn't charge for the kitchen error. We basically brought home a full meal because the portions are so large and filling!

The music that played while we were shopping made the atmosphere even more nostalgic. We bought lots of fun sweets and headed back to Minneapolis. What happened next, makes Sweetly Kismet Candy Store even more amazing. When I returned home, I realized my watch was missing. I retraced my steps and called several places I had visited, no watch had been turned in. I called Sweetly Kismet Candy Store; Andy answered the phone and informed me that someone had turned in my watch. He then offered to mail my watch back. As we figured out all the logistics and decided on the mode of delivery, it was already Friday afternoon at 330 PM. This wonderful store and amazing employees said they were going to run it to the Post Office before it closed. I received notification an hour later that my package had been registered and was on its way. Highly recommend visiting for the wonderful sweets but know that there are dedicated employees that will give you the best customer service and care!

And this candy store was an easy find off the freeway exit. I followed the lollipops along the east side of a gas station. It was hidden behind the gas station. Lining the drive to the parking lot were pretty, tall pine trees. Doesn't look like much from the outside, but walking up to the door were family-friendly activities. A photo booth and wooden tables to play games, like checkers and jenga. Inside is clean and organized aisles of bulk candy. We came to look but did leave with a couple bottles of root beer and cans of Northern Soda company pop. The cashier wasn't too amused that I work in the same city that is manufactured in. I had also just gotten back from a trip to Wyoming and Montana and was on a Huckleberry high. I did find some Huckleberry flavored things there as well.
