I just had three vehicles inspected at Lakepoint Auto. I have to say they are friendly, efficient,…read moreand honest. The third vehicle inspected had tinted front door windows that don't meet North Carolina standards. They gave me the option of taking the vehicle back and removing the tint and then bringing back, or failing the inspection, which would have costed me $30. I took the vehicle back and removed the tinting film and called Lakepoint back up and they got it in immediately for the inspection. I really appreciated their honesty and the chance the correct the problem before they moved forward. In the future, I'll be bringing my vehicles to Lakepoint Auto for service work

In one day, they packed up the truck in NC and delivered it to VA the next day without any breakage or loss. All the crew members were respectful of our properties. PS: I do recommend a big jar of Halloween candy. It seems they each have a sweet tooth.

Staff seem to change frequently at this location but most are pretty friendly. All bins are clearly marked/labeled to indicate what you can recycle and there are signs throughout the lot explaining procedures. You must have a sticker visible on the driver's side of your windshield or you cannot discard your refuse here. Annually stickers are sent out with bills for property tax aka your vehicle registration renewal. I'm glad the county provides convenience centers such as this because it is a pretty far drive for me to take my refuse and recyclables to the main location near Twin Oaks Golf Course. It's also helpful that this location is open from 6:30am until 6:30pm Monday through Friday and is open on Saturday from 7:00am until 5:00pm. Working class people that don't pay for garbage service or live within the city limits where recycling pickup is offered really need these hours! I appreciate our county offering this service!

Not only did they basically rob me of several dollars due to their equipment I assume malfunctioning. Every time I would switch to brush or rinse it took about a minute for it to switch over. I initially noticed this when I turned it on to rinse my car and it used almost half my time before it started giving me any water at all. Then I noticed when I would switch from one function to another such as going from the rinse to brush it took the same amount of time. Effectively doubling my cost to wash my car. Due to this I noticed a flaw in their tech and I'll gladly share it as you basically stole my money. It cost me 13 to wash my car due to your system. That being said if you turn this car wash on it will keep going on the rinse function for several minutes after the timer runs out if you consistently hold the handle down. I probably wasted a few bucks in water just playing around once I was done since I paid for entertainment. I hope this place burns down in a fire is how annoyed I am with this. I had to wash my tiny little 2 door in sections because of how crappy this was. When I went to use the brush it gave me the bare min soap and then it wouldn't give you any more I had to change the function to get more. This place sucks don't ever go here.
