For almost 7 years, we've been living in Spanish Springs and I wanted to find something closer to the house. After doing some research, blue tree seemed to be the best place to go. They were able to get all four of my kids, my wife and myself in over two days. The doctor was awesome, attentive and informative. It was a low stress visit for my kids. One of my kiddos doesn't do well with exam, and doc was amazing. Excited to now be a patient here and looking forward to the care going forward. If you're in the market to find a new optometrist, definitely give blue tree a chance. We found that the pricing worked really well with our district insurance plan and they were very helpful with options for our glasses in house and with third party retailers.

When I had my appointment I had my two kids and my niece with me and they were more than accommodating to me having them there with me, they even asked if my son wanted to color. After my exam, I found out I needed glasses and I also found out that I am really picky... I probably tried on every pair of glasses they had before deciding on a pair. The staff was beyond kind and patient with not only myself but my kids as well. I have gone back several times since my initial appointment to update my prescription, adjust my frames, get fitted for contracts, etc and every time it has been a great experience.

    My family has been using Pritchett Eye Care for years. Went there to have my annual check up and it went just fine. It's one of the best locations for me, i love the trees and the overlooking sight. Their office building looks nice and clean. Their optometrist is always nice as well. The lady took my optical pics and she seemed alright. Overall, it was a good experience. They will take your optical pics no matter what. That is a new policy they have. They will charge you $45 if you have no insurance or if insurance does not allow it. Thank God my insurance took care of that so i did not have to pay anything. They did not dilate my eyes and i'm thankful for that as i hate driving coz it can get blurry afterwards. One thing i like is you may or may not purchase glasses there. I personally don't have to wear glasses as I don't need it. But i know some eye offices will "force" you to get glasses sold in their establishment. My family goes there for check ups but gets glasses somewhere else cheaper. For me, it's a great deal. Also, i kind of had a hard time getting hold of them to call for appointment. They did not answer my call at first, led me to a recording system and they did not return my call. So i tried a couple days after and someone answered it and luckily i was able to get an appointment. My son tried calling them as well for an appointment after a few hours and he was led to an answering machine. The place could get very busy and they only have 2 people on front desk to take care of many things, so just a heads up on that.

To be honest, I wasn't planning to ever leave, and only did because I thought they didn't take my insurance. So when I learned my eye doctor couldn't see me for my annual appointment for 3 months, I immediately checked back here and found both availability AND that they accept my insurance, so I went all in. I love the convenient location, fixed pricing for exams, ease of applying my insurance and the convenience of Costco optical right outside the door! Office is kept clean and comfortable. My appointment was right on time and the doctor was very efficient with the time. He offered good information about my eye health as well, and went one step further to share how he is able to support his patient's in the cast prescriptions, supplies, etc. run up sooner than anticipated. I'm super satisfied with this decision and experience. As far as I'm concerned, seeing this eye doc may as well be called a life hack.

    I love the doctor, very great at what he does, but the receptionist itself I'm not too sure about…read more I work at the hospital, and I get it, everyone gets busy, and not everyone knows how insurance works in every area of things (dental, vision, health, and so on). So I called and asked what I paid for, not knowing it was my copay. I should have asked the first time before paying it ( my fault), and the receptionist that I spoke to explained to me what it was about. I asked to please cancel my contact sample. April 15, I called again and left a voicemail asking if I could please order contacts and see if I could just get the sample while I wait for my regular contacts to come in ( that's what I left on the voicemail). Then the same receptionist called back. And stated to change my voicemail to something that I didn't say ( I still have her voicemail), so I did go ahead and tell her I did not say that to please listen to the voicemail again. do mind this receptionist is rude not only when the first time I spoke with her but the second time around. I remembered her voice. If they have a voice recorder, I need them to listen to every conversation we had so they do not think I'm lying. I don't act rude to people unless they have a rude attitude. I hardly can go to Costco because one, I work at the hospital, and two, I have chemo treatments. This is why I called and see if she can help me. That day I called, I even asked if she can please print out my prescription and if she can please see if I can get a sample so when I have a chance to go in, I can pick them up. And she said yes. ( because what I'm wearing is my last pair) I never had a chance to go back for a while, and when I went to the optical department after work, a young lady there who was nice enough to try to help me to see if I had any prescriptions there, she said no, and no samples as well. I told her I spoke with the receptionist on 4/15 telling her that I'll stop by to order prescriptions and pick up samples. I even showed her the voicemail. So that lady went to the dr office to get my prescription paper, including my clear one, hoping she can ask the doctor to approve the clear one for me since she's the receptionist, but no, she wrote it instead (because I have Stigmatism ) The young lady came out and she said they don't have samples because it's every 6 months they order. I was so upset because that's not what the receptionist said to me when I spoke with her. When the receptionist came out she couldn't even look at me in the eye or talk to me to explain that the lady at the optical department was the one who had to talk to me. I won't make a scene I'm not like that. I just need her to explain what happened to her conversation with me on 4/14. (Still have that voicemail). I am just very disappointed. When I know I'm wrong, I say sorry. But I'm not going to say sorry. I've worked with people like that who act so nice in front of doctors but to other patients/staff they are rude or even talk behind each other and I can't stand those people. I can't tolerate that. Please listen to the voice recording if you guys have before thinking I'm a rude patient. Thank you
